im glad your ok sarge, was getting worried about you.
why,to test different scenarios,to stimulate the in country economy as most materials that go into homes is american made, because most insurance is backed by loyds of london which is a way to sap old money to stimulate the economy while also spreading the hit over all the people who also pay for insurance.
notice most damage is in central us.most damage dollars will stay here.
you have to admit i guessed right on location of landfall?even a blind squirrel eventually will find a nut? or our noaa are not real smart?or maybe im a genius?well im not,its obvious.
yes your country is murdering its own.otherwise why didnt they use haarp to stop it?
why would the us gov have soldiers guarding the facility yet universities with nuke reactors are left open to the public.
there is some serious stuff going on in that facility.expect more.
if this storm doesnt cool off old miss then expect another one clobbering sarge again.

Thanks guys for all the well wishes. Its possible we'll be out oh power for maybe 2-3 weeks more. So we're stocking up on gas tomorrow for the generator. I'm not as young as i used to be and the ol' heart won't let me work cleaning up after the storm, so my wife and daughter did a great job while i watched the grandkids. Katrina was hard but we got power pretty quick compared to this. You'll have to excuse the typing cause i have no internet and i'm using my iphone when i can get a couple of bars.

Good news to hear your all safe and in tact! Do take care,
and that iPhone is a great thing.

Hope your stocking up goes well!

Well here i am, four days later and alls well. Still without power but generator seems to be working ok now after some issues during the storm. Katrina was big and bad and scary. But what Isaac lacked in power more than made up for it in duration. Man i thought it would never end. Lots of water, more than katrina. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Oh yeah, i think this Haarp thing is a lot of baloney. J/S.

Thor, your a class act, brother, and now you have a fine assistant with an itchy pen finger in Amaterasu!

I cant for the life of me imagine the two of you not having success at making a difference.

I wish you guys safe working, and when you see Sarge, give him a big hug for me!

Umm shouldn't you thank the TECHNICIANS? The ones who worked hard to get your power back to you?

It was God (with a capital 'G') that threw that storm at you :P

::)

I mean credit where credit is due :D

Pecans appear to be green ?  as they are still in green pods ?

Can grab a pic in daylight and you decide - if we can

figure out the process... see below.

One has to appreciate the technology that makes it possible for me to post this.

My Galaxy III is on the dashboard of the truck in the parking lot,

about 100 feet from my laptop in the room

(which does not receive any signal whatsoever on the phone inside).

The phone provides the hotspot for the laptop wifi -

wifi reaches laptop - voila - we be here.

It also works in the truck when we are mobile... :o   8)

Now, if we could figure out how to post the pics directly

from said phone.

Will investigate YouTube now..

Love to all :-*

Awwww  nuts! :P

robomont

most trees in east texas loaded this year.
for the last two months there havent been any mini pecan pies for sale.
cant wait for fall.i usually make the deal ,i will pick up five gallons for the tree owner if i can pick up five gallons for myself.they are a great winter snack and the aftertaste makes cigarettes taste nasty,so it helps me slow down my tobacco habit.
