Quotethe current trend is to take away any connection people might have
to the spiritual and replace it with the worship of the animal flesh body, exclusively.  this not only severs our connection to the divine without or within but makes us into little more than a pack of animals, thus survival of the fittest scenarios to escalate with abandon.

You are right, although i am an atheist, i understand & agree with this.
It would be a sad thing to lose our spirituality...

i would say you are not the text book definition of an atheist.  clearly you appreciate your spiritual side.  a true atheist just thinks we are evolved bits of animal flesh and that the divine, spiritual, super or hyper natural, do not exist, no matter how you define it.

i'm referring exclusively to those who believe or attempt to get others to believe, that life is a meaningless series of chemical reactions.

Oh I would love to do what vader did to a few people, not kill them, just over power them for a minute or so, just like that.

There are a few politicians that would be in line as well.
I know that I know nothing - thanks Capricorn.

take what works.leave the rest.
spiritualism is not meant to be played with.
thats what gets most folks in trouble.
dont try to interact with it.just read the signs and plan accordingly.
enter the library but be careful what you learn,or how you apply it.
peace is easy ,its mans brain that is the problem.

The AP Solves the Mystery of the Man Behind Innocence of Muslims
By Abby Ohlheiser and Josh Voorhees
Posted Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012

Quotet looks like the Associated Press has solved the mystery of who was behind the anti-Islam film believed to have sparked this week's violent protests at U.S. missions in Egypt, Libya, and throughout the Middle East.

That man is Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, a 55-year-old Coptic Christian with a criminal past who lives in California, according to the news wire's digging, which has been backed up by a federal law enforcement official.

In an interview with the AP, Nakoula admitted to providing logistical support for the production of Innocence of Muslims but denied being "Sam Bacile," the name given as the film's maker. But the evidence cobbled together by AP reporters Gillian Flaccus and Stephen Braun suggests otherwise.

The AP was one of a handful of media outlets to publish an interview early Wednesday with a man who claimed to be Bacile. Reporters traced the cellphone number used during that interview to Nakoula's address and, once there, noticed that Nakoula covered up his middle name of "Basseley" with his thumb when displaying his driver's license.

A little more digging on the part of Flaccus and Braun led to the discovery that Nakoula pleaded no contest in 2010 to bank fraud charges, had used numerous aliases in the past, and had a number of connections to the Bacile persona. An unnamed U.S. law enforcement official later confirmed to the AP that they had the right man.

Man behind anti-Islam film reportedly is Egyptian-born ex-con
By Michael Isikoff, NBC News

QuoteThe Associated Press was first to report that it had reached the filmmaker who said he was an Israeli-American real estate developer from California who had made the movie by raising $5 million from wealthy Jewish donors. It gradually emerged that the man, who went by "Sam Bacile," was using an alias. The film, tied to U.S.-based Christians with extreme anti-Islam views, was produced on a low budget in southern California using actors who were apparently unaware of the film's ultimate purpose.

Insulting religion and wishing for the death of your enemies is mainstream these days. Hasn't anyone got the memo yet? Heck even religious leaders are doing it.  ::)

Say a New Year prayer for the destruction of our enemies in Iran, Shas spiritual leader urges

Ask God to wipe out 'the evil ones who threaten Israel,' Rabbi Ovadia Yosef tells followers, ahead of next month's Rosh Hashanah

QuoteA special request asking God to destroy Israel's enemies in Iran and their Hezbollah proxy in Lebanon should be included next month in the prayers for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef said on Saturday night.

"When we say the blessing over the dates at our Rosh Hashanah meal this year," said the rabbi in his weekly address "and we ask God to 'bring an end to our enemies,' we should be thinking about Iran, those evil ones who threaten Israel. May the Lord destroy them."

Maybe if we can piss off enough arab nations they'll declare 9/11 a national holiday.  >:(

LOL! Ellirium! 911 another bankers holiday!

As for praying for death..thats standard op procedure for the worlds religions...and exactly why so many are waking up to the hijacking of mans spirituality by said religions.

It looks to me like many religions are trying to nail their own coffins shut.
The age of Aquarius is upon us and wouldnt it be fitting for ALL religions to just fade away?

Sort of a self healing for mankind to release the millenias old dogma of religion without any spirituality.

Shed the evil skin per se?

any world view that attempts to define the spiritual and/or divine, the meaning of life, the universe and everything, and the origin of life, and to do so via indoctrination, written text, threat of death and peer pressure, is, by its very nature, religious in function and application.  this would include things like darwinism and atheism as well.  since they seek to offer "evidence" of their interpretation of the past, and to spread this teaching via forced indoctrination in state regulated schools, and via forced attendance, forced reading, etc.

It would be interesting to see a number put to the amount of human deaths resulted from wars evoked on behalf of religious beliefs...
