High Resolution Camera To Study Dark Energy

A release on this Camera, and its intended studies, is in the News today. It will be looking at galaxies,, and galaxy clusters.

Says "this is the highest resolution camera ever built"!

Well they just might! There may be some "dark matter" on that "dark side" of the Moon!!

But then if they are just "pointing" it from down here, they could not see the dark side anyway.

If they really wanted the best resolution for looking at the dark matter, you would think they would have chosen to do it from a Hubble satellite type device, rather than having to look through the Earth atmosphere ??

My guess is their budget and time were the reasons for using a high altitude observatory.  Space based is expensive and would take years.
