The whole thing made me laugh then cry, then ask, WTF?

It really reminds me of how our own gubmint works behind the scenes..Jesse Ventura said it right, "when we are away from the scene as politicians, we are all just good ole buddies, but in the limelight, we are sworn enemies".

I truly think they will have to be allowed to just fight it out, while the world suffers, and what better time to wean ourselves from oil, eh? Let them have it, they can keep driving around in combustion powered machines all they want...without the western world buying their oil, theyll become a non point in world affairs anyway.

Maybe this is what is suppose to get our asses in gear finding alternative energy tech, and maybe if this requirement comes soon enough, some of those "lost patents" will suddenly reappear as "new" technologies.

Either way, we are witnessing a very important time in Earth history, and for that we should be thankful, if not petrified!LOL!

I also wouldn't be surprised if on another level it is meant to try and cause a schisim within Israel itself.  You have Netanyahu drawing a "red line" for decisive military action, you have the "let's wait, let's talk" Israeli crowd, you have the US Gov wanting to calm things down, the US Conservatives backing up Netanyahu on the "red line", The Saudi's would love nothing more than seeing Iran get a bloody nose, the Syrian Government has thrown in it's cards with Iran (what few blood stained cards they have left)  and a whole lot of shades of gray players everywhere.

Iran's singular immediate goal is to buy time.  Time to finish off what is suspected nearly completed.  Once they have the bomb, Israel knows a surgical strike becomes much more complicated, less than 100% success means possible catastrophic consiquences.

The whole area is a muddled mess of backroom diplomacy and frontroom stage shows.  Ahdmadinajad is just trying to keep the waters muddied and buy time.  Time.  It's working against Israel and for Iran.
