It appears that there will be a third launch of the X-37B.  It may start landing on the old shuttle strips in Florida.

I don't believe for a second that this is the cutting edge.  They have had space vehicles more capable for at least a decade and likely much longer.

True Pim, but they have to show us something for our tax dollars.
Joe public can look at this & say 'gee, thats a reeely fast plane' not realising that was built from our tax dollars in 1972...
I would think that most of our tax dollars are in space right now ;)

Not mine.  I think a lot of British pounds are spent on a stunningly vast intelligence network.  Part of the reason we are still an important ally to the USA.

British tax money does have a great number of places to hide itself but we here in the US get the gold medal for stealing citizen's money and using it for things we have no clue about.

I personally think the British have done this for a while and do it better than anyone..all James Bond and such...and thusforth being a much older society, I would imagine they have much deeper caves and caverns to hide the dough in.

Id like to see some disclosure as to our money and where it went, even if it doesnt involve UFO's. That would be nice...

could not of put it better myself pim, what with GCHQ, Menwith hill, RAF fylingdales, Irton moor. all tied in
with the echelon system and we the UK work mainly as civilians (though not all) to our counterpart US DOD staff.
WE ARE the intelligence gathering network. one thing we do very well.

never forget this great man who gave so much
& asked for nothing but to let electricity be free for all.

And of course, it is far easier to avoid being spotted by other intelligence organisations if you are not on the defence payroll.  Obvious really. ;)
