This is an absolutely MUST SEE:

I am calling for a push for The Abundance Paradigm.  It is a plan, and it is written with the Betterment Ethic as its only base.

I ask that those of You who really want to make something else happen than what the "elite" have in store for Us stop waiting until the only choice is enslavement or death.

Do something NOW!  Spread the word.  Speak it at every reasonable opportunity.  KEEP sending links to the material!

It should no longer be business as usual.  It should no longer be, "I'll get around to it."  It MUST be, "I'll do that NOW."  And NOW.  And NOW.   Ad successium!

(Ok, I made "successium" up.)

Seriously, though.  I watch as People talk, and I squeeze the Paradigm in wherever I can.  But still People talk.  We MUST actively PUSH and with a plan, We will have a place to go.

I had been thinking of registering AbundanceParadigm.web myself, a few weeks ago.  I probably should have done it. ;)

I'm unsure what you're saying here, thor...but AFAIK, AbundanceParadigm.Web is still unregistered.

What would You do with said site, Petrus?

I would recommend any who have the skills to set up a site with local, regional, continental and planetary areas, where problems and solutions can be discussed.  A forum-styled affair ala My piece, Stigmergic Governance Via the Web...

Given my own current plans, it is not likely to happen; but truthfully if I was going to do anything, I'd re-learn PHP and probably try and write something custom.  I don't like trying to work with other people's code, as a general rule.

I'm an antiquarian where the Internet or programming are concerned; as far as UNIX goes, I specialised in pre-Perl (meaning pre-1990, or actually pre-1987) scripting languages, mainly due to their relative simplicity.  Perl is a horrible language, although PHP is tolerable.  My memory of it is fading somewhat, but the Internet was a very different place, when I first got online.  A better place.

Nimbin is calling me back, however; so that will not happen.  I need to be up there for the 21st of December.  I truthfully don't know how much more the skills I acquired with UNIX are going to get used at this point.  It does not seem to be a system that most people want, now; which breaks my heart, truthfully...but c'est la vie.

I need to say something else, here.

This video prominently shows a picture of Gandhi, above the word, "Disobey."  It is very important to understand, that Gandhi's ability to do what he did, came from an interlocking set of physical practices.  I'm not just talking about faith as a theoretical abstraction, here.  I'm talking about practical spiritual disciplines which he engaged in.

Said things were:-

a}  Brahmacharya.  This is defined not merely as physical celibacy, but total mental celibacy as well, including in dreams.  This, more than anything else, is the single most important element, as mentioned in the PDF.  The point of brahmacharya is the retention of the vital energies which are usually expended during sex, (and which can even be expended in mental focus on sex) so that they can be put to other (particularly paranormal) uses.

This more than anything else, was the key to the seemingly supernatural psychological stamina which Gandhi is known for.  Brahmacharya can also be extremely conducive to positive emotional control, as well; which is, of course, vital to the successful practice of non-violence.

b}  Mantra Japa.  The point of japa is the creation of single-pointed mental focus.  This can be enormously useful, again, for emotional control, and if developed to a high degree, would likely also be useful during torture or prolonged imprisonment.

c}  Dietary control.  Gandhi mentions in one of his books, what he calls "control of the palate."  Hinduism has a philosophical subsystem called Ayurveda, which allows a person to determine their own physiological profile, and devise an optimal diet for themselves accordingly.

d}  Pranayama.  This allows for the conscious control of the energy which has been retained via Brahmacharya, mentioned above.

Before anyone asks, no, I am not claiming to engage in these on a consistent basis; and the levels of narcissism and emotional instability which I at times have displayed on this forum, should make that obvious.

Why am I pointing these out then, I hear you ask?  Before Zorgon again begins enthusiastically lambasting me as a narcissistic hypocrite, let it be known that I am not advocating Gandhi's behaviour, either in my own life or anyone else's.  The point, however, is that the author of the above video is advocating such; and what said author perhaps does not understand, is that if these spiritual disciplines are not adhered to, then an individual cannot hope to obtain the levels of psychological positivity and stamina that Gandhi did.

The Occupy movement fell apart almost immediately after the police started becoming genuinely violent with them.  The only one of the Millenial activists I've seen with any real backbone, is Charlie Veitch.  He was illegally thrown in solitary for a week by the Glasgow police, in order to try and deter him; afterwards, he went back out onto the streets.

If we have any chance at all of getting through this, it is not going to be via a frontal assault.  We won't survive that violently, and we do not have anywhere remotely close to the necessary psycho-spiritual endurance to survive it non-violently.
