I Saw A Sign Today

The sign said,and I quote, 

"God created us to glorify him"

And now I will leave it  up for  discussion.

Well kdog, you certainly do just put it out there!! At the risk of..............~~~~, I will give a very brief reply.

Whoever made the sign you mentioned likely has read parts of a certain book, and several places in that book speak to what the sign reports.

To quote one of the places:

"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him".

Yes, kdog, you mentioned that your sign used the word "glorify". The word "glorify" is synonymous with the word "worship", according to the dictionary.

So, it is "my opinion" that your sign is "quite right"!

Is is definitely in the air, gentlemen & ladies.

It sprung to mind suddenly today, when I was ruminated about how much stuff I could shove in the '56 Chevy if the ball dropped. And how far I could get. In how much time and by what route. And how I could inflate emergency floatation devices and with what.

And then I remembered, that every single day of my life, things DO seem to work themselves out, somehow, without the red button even being uncovered, if I'm playing straight...
