You assume that Disclosure does not serve their interests.  It does.

The entire premise of humanity learning about the existence of ET life, definitively, is that we would then feel compelled to form a singular global government the next day; exactly what the cabal have been dreaming of all along.  That is the whole point.

Don't think that nuclear non-proliferation doesn't serve the cabal's purposes, either; it also does.  They want the UN to have its' own military, which would serve as the sole global monopoly on violence; those are pretty much their exact words.  They want nukes out of the hands of sovereign countries, because nukes are the last resort that said countries have for self-defense, and to remain sovereign.

I hope, I hope, I hope.......... we can achieve some sort of tech breathrough in which the role of governments is permanently diminished - such that we don't NEED THEM for much and that their authority hits a brick wall.

if you can step back and look without a prejusticed thought -  i think you will see something

i am a child of the 60's where equality was the by word but not the fact
as a young woman in the work force it was a real eye opener in any number of ways
but mostly
those with money and the old boys network ruled

with this guy being elected and those who voted and why..
i see that  rich men - old boys club being broken
and they are running scared

is it a great victory for the little people and are we really getting somewhere fast

but like someone said long ago..

one small step

the us is not just a place..it's an idea

A clear message to the good ole boy system...and running scared is just what they are doing now.

Americans need to stop the knee jerk reactions because one of these days, that knee's going to jerk us off a cliff we cant come back from!

I want to say wake the flock up people, look at the real enemy, and adjust your thinking to face it.

Stop the bickering and back-biting that defines the common American anymore, and remember the days when America was something to be proud of.

There was another TV series that made a similar speech to the Ancients. Babylon 5.  That speech also created the solution and solved the problem

So yeah, most likely that speech was made

One has to watch the SG1 series in order... and not listen to the episode story as much as the underlying material that is on going. Even The matrix Travellers's light box was shown in that series as a tool to give someone instant godlike knowledge... IF it didn't fry your brain in the process.

Oddly enough Babylon 5 had a similar effect, but in their version it came about by looking upon a Vorlon, one of the Ancient races

Obama Wins - Layoffs Starting

Some points....

- Lockheed Martin was delaying layoffs until after the election on the Obama administrations requests.

- "Today, I got the call that my staff is being cut by over 75%. I have no idea how we'll be able to deliver our work next year, it just seems impossible. "

- "...I've heard some other anecdotal evidence that people are losing their jobs all across the company as businesses allocate what used to be salary to future taxes."

- HR in our company said about a 5% cut after the first of the year. Had lunch with the guy today

- "I have heard of many companies and businesses that have threatened and are now seemingly following through with layoffs and shut downs in the event of four more years with Obama. That type of behavior will make the "economic collapse" that people are ranting about self fulfilling prophecy."

When your cash input doesn't go up, while your taxes do go up, then something has to give. The only thing that can give is the company, and the work force in the middle.

Companies have been holding off the layoff in hope that another president would get in and repeal the obama stuff before it kicked in.

They now know that won't happen, so they have to do what they have to do. The only other option is to go out of business.

Our CEO announced today that we would be restructuring, code word for lay-offs. No optimistic outlook for 1st quarter 2013. Companies that would have expanded or opened will still be in a holding pattern until things shake out. If you work for or with the FEDS you will be fine unless it is military funded.

I am opposed to centralised, continental scale government in any form.  Paul of Tarsus once said that money is the root of all evil; I, on the other hand, have always believed that federalism is.

As for democracy, I will also say this.  Let no democracy which exists, make decisions that are legally binding on any person who is not physically in the room, at the time when said decisions are made.

Federalism is an invention of the cabal; it fits entirely with the eye at the capstone of the pyramid.  The tiny few above, the teeming millions below.  Government must become truly local again, if it is to become a source of real benevolence.  One area where I deviate massively from the Leftist stereotype that some around here would probably brand me with, is in the sense that I am not a globalist.  I am not a racist, but I do believe in local government.

Global problems require global solutions.  I agree with decentralising/devolving power where it does not damage the whole.  It is certainly desirable that decisions be taken locally where possible.  However, you need a co-ordinating entity in order for a complex whole to function.

Humans have a brain for the same reason.  If all of your cells tried to  look after themselves and were not co-ordinated by the brain, you will die.

Like the human body, human society is now so complex and humans so populous that it is incapable of surviving without an organising force.  Nationalism and nation states cannot or will not co-operate and therefore we need a democratic central body.

As you said yourself Petrus, "So if you think that isolated self-maximisation is a morally or rationally defensible concept or form of behaviour, then go and live on Mars, without taking anything from Earth."  I'd say that to all American or British Nationalists.  You are destroying the planet for all humans and life forms out of self-maximisation.  Your interest is not that of most humans or animal species!

So we look to the first major move which occured after the election..the flame which sparked initially...if those posts at ATS are accurate...people being laid off by the largest energy and tech corporations we have..a move to protect their coffers?

No, its the first salvo in the attack by the republicans on the economy...just like they did in 2008..a hijacking of the governement to make it appear that everything bad that happens is the fault of the democrats..a cheap ageless strategy that only hurts us all.

Thanks a republican politician next time you meet one for what theyve done to lock up and freeze the government's ability to fix the economy..hell smirk and say, its our only hope to take back the control...

In regards to God, Religion and the marvel of our bodies, I have long believed that we keep obsessing with the same defective analogy.

Aside from unconscious brainstem functions, our bodies manage an enormous array of biological mechanisms without our minds intervening.  We don't have to remember to keep breathing or balance our potassium/levels ordinarily.  "God" makes more sense as being like a body than a person - and Adam Smith's invisible hand has done pretty well.

That said, technology is wiping out jobs like a house afire.  We will need to come up with a whole new system in which many more people are part time but still able to live. 

If we ever build a Star Trek Replicator, I wanna be first in line to learn how to fix it, as the only Securely Employed guy left. 

Free Energy or Bust, I say - unless there really is an Ascension and we all turn spirit and don't need to worry.
