I've mentioned this guy a couple of times, although admittedly, my literacy skills have not brought him any special justice.

To bring Dr. Peter Beter and his material back to your attention, I would like to offer you a snippet of his regular 'behind the scenes' commentary.

In 1974, Beter publicly stated that most of the gold in Fort Knox had been sold to European interests, at prices vastly below market rates. According to him, international speculators had dishonestly obtained the gold.

Beter released a series of 80 audio newsletter tapes between 1975 and 1982. [14] Beter was known for his highly controversial claims, some of which included allegations of conspiracy in the highest places. Beter claimed that:

    Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson was involved in the Kennedy assassination.[17]

    Several important public figures such as David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, and Jimmy Carter are actually dead, and are being impersonated by organic "robotoids".[18][19][20]

    Patty Hearst was kidnapped by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) after the Hearst newspaper chain published secret Congressional testimony. This testimony revealed that America's atomic secrets were handed over to the Soviet Union - not stolen by Soviet spies, before America's first atomic bomb was finished, and that the Rockefellers were directly involved in this plot.[21][22][23]

    The CIA was responsible for the secret death of General George Scratchley Brown because he simply knew "too much".[24]

    The Jonestown massacre was staged to camouflage a joint U.S.-Israeli military operation to destroy a Soviet missile base in Guyana. The Jonestown incident explained the movement of U.S. military personnel into Guyana and concealed the real count of casualties from the attack on the Soviet base.[25]

    Particle beam weapons and other advanced aerial weapons under secret development, such as the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program had the power to change the weather. Both the U.S. and the Soviet Union had developed such weapons.

To sum up, he stated many 'outlandish' things, including: The Americans and Soviets had bases on the Moon and Mars, the Soviets were superior in the space arms race, and much of the ariel phenomenon we witnessed at the time could be attributed to space wars, consisting of lots of satellites being destroyed. (Just to name a few things).

A Particle Beam is a fearsome weapon;
and nearly two months of painstaking preparation and check-out of
all systems preceded the first test. Meanwhile, American
astronauts on the moon worked at frenzied pace to try to bring
their Particle Beam installation to operational status.

By early September, this month, the first Particle Beam unit on the moon
was being assembled. A few days later the crew of Cosmos 929
tested their Particle Beam unit by firing it into open space to
verify that it would function properly. It did!

The next stepwas to test the beam against a target--the target chosen was an
American spy satellite as it passed over the Petrozavodsk
Observatory, which lies east of southern Finland. Cosmos 929 was
nearly 1000 miles to the south near the Black Sea, the local time
was roughly 4:00 AM Tuesday, September 20, 1977, and the moon was
on the other side of the earth. The crew of the moon base were
therefore unable to observe the test.

Aided by computers, Cosmos 929 aimed and fired. The American satellite erupted into an
immense fireball of light, which the Soviet news agency Tass
described as a huge star which flashed out of a dark sky, sending
shafts of light impulses to earth.

It took several minutes to dwindle to a red glow and burn out as it drifted eastward, and it
was witnessed as far away as Helsinki, Finland, over 300 miles to
the west. News reports that day in this country dismissed it all
as a curious jellyfish-like UFO.

Four days later, September 24,the Soviet Navy, without explanation, expelled all British and
French fishing trawlers, among others, from the Barents Sea. At
the same time, Soviet trawlers in European community waters were
called home. By the 26th of September, American personnel at the
secret Rockefeller moon base nestled in Copernicus Crater were
almost ready. Their Particle Beam was almost operational--but
they were too late. By late that day, the Soviet Union began
bombarding the moon base with a Neutron Particle Beam.

The Soviet Union's 'Roswell' Cloaked Down-to-Earth Reality

here was no doubt that UFO observers were seeing something weird. Sightings included brilliant light displays seen by many observers. Some events were downright scary.

Take the so-called jellyfish UFO that "attacked" the Russian city of Petrozavodsk Sept. 20, 1977. The Soviet news agency Tass reported:

"This star moved slowly towards Petrozavodsk and, spreading out over it in the form of a jellyfish, hung there, showering the city with a multitude of very fine rays which created an image of pouring rain. After some time the luminescent rays ceased. The jellyfish turned into a bright semicircle and resumed its movement.... A semicircular pool of bright light, red in the middle and white at the sides, then formed in the shroud."

Finnish observers also saw the UFO. Western analysts soon figured out it was a satellite launch. There was no listed launch site that far north in the Soviet Union, however. Many Russian observers and UFO buffs remained convinced it was an alien craft. Some even claimed the jellyfish rays had punched holes in concrete and window glass. Others said they had seen smaller craft leave and return to a mother ship.

The Petrozavodsk phenomenon was a series of celestial events of disputed nature on September 20, 1977. The sightings were reported over a vast territory from Copenhagen and Helsinki on the west to Vladivostok on the east.[1] The phenomenon is named after the city of Petrozavodsk in Russia (then in the Soviet Union), where a glowing object that showered the city with numerous rays was widely reported.

Official government letters from northern European countries to Anatoly Aleksandrov, President of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, expressed concern about whether the observed phenomenon was caused by Soviet weapons testing and whether it constitutes a threat to the region's environment

I am aware most of these claims seem outlandish and absurd when taken out of context. However, almost everything Beter ever brought to our attention has mirrored tangible events we can evaluate. It's simply a case of looking for the info.

Beter had some serious contacts, including General George S Brown (didn't Thomas Costello mention a George S..?), and many  more powerful names, not to mention his confidential contacts above those.  Beter maintains that Brown was murdered for knowing to much, (as was Beter's Rockefeller contact), and others have came forward and said Beter was eventually killed because he knew to much..

Anyway, I know you all like your space based weapons,  so I thought you might enjoy debunking/verifying certain aspects of his testimony/opinion/knowledge/claims.

For purposes of clarification in regard to these kind of whistleblowers, I offer the example of Victor Suvorov.

These folks operate in a shadowy realm, without transparency or open reporting , and must assemble facts into a coherent whole that are hidden within compartmentalization - so deep and complete that not even curious Presidents (Clinton) can find out what the real truth is.

Many years ago, a big time defector from the Soviet GRU appeared on the scene. He brought all sorts of wild stories to explain the 'riddle wrapped in an enigma' that was the Soviet Union.  However, given the principles above, he simply repeated what he was told or heard, without being able to check things further.

In the end, we just use logic and intuition to try to make sense of it all.  Sometimes we rest our opinions on small 'tells' such as with playing poker.  That's just the way it is.

Second Example

          The first test of the Moon base weapons occurred on
          November 19, 1977, ironically at about the same time as the
          release of the first "Star Wars" movie with its "death star"
          weapon.  The Russians were aiming at the eye of a cyclone
          near India.  But they miscalculated the deflection of the
          beam by the Earth's magnetic field, and the beam struck the

Thanks Seeker, I've been meaning to do that myself - But I'm really not the best at navigating on the moon
