Hello everyone. Upfront I am telling you I am working with sketchy but real information.

The Chinese government news this morning showed that a bomb was triggered in the west some place that blew up several 1 or 2 story buildings and killing at least 15 people. Most of which I was told were government people. The blast happened on 4-23 2013 so it took them several days to get all the data ready. Mostly a list of the dead. Each persons picture was shown with stats on who they were and where they worked. If the reason was told I did not understand it.

This is not undercover work, it was played on National TV today. I have a very hard time understanding the TV, they talk so fast. So I will be asking friends about what happened.

Rumor and I repeat RUMOR has it that it had something to do with religion. In a country that has none?

You might actually be able to add more than I can if the story gets out to the world. They did show the bomb blast are on TV, not a nice place to have been. Looks like a WW2 bomb dropped on the buildings. Brick walls leveled and no roofs and bricks everywhere.

The general feeling of some people I talked to so far is "Now it has come to China"

For me, they love us here. I have no problems and hope never to have a problem. They want to be like us, just without the problems. So far on the whole it is working.

Being here I see that for the most part, they just want to be left alone. They have a big enough country to worry about and have no interests at the moment of expanding the empire.

China Mine Blast Kills 18, Injures 12

+By Associated Press
BEIJING April 21, 2013 (AP)

China's state news agency says a coal mine explosion has killed 18 and injured 12 in the northeast part of the country.

The Xinhua News Agency cites local authorities as saying the Saturday afternoon blast occurred in Helong city in Jilin province.

The report says rescue work has ended, but an investigation into the cause of the explosion continues.

China's mines are the deadliest in the world. Safety has tightened in recent years, but regulations are often ignored.

Coal mine blast kills 18 in Jilin
Updated: 2013-04-22 06:54By Ding Luyang in Changchun and Wang Xiaodong in Beijing (China Daily)

An explosion in a coal mine killed 18 people and injured 12 others in Jilin province on Saturday when the mine operators defied a government order of suspending the work for inspections.

The blast occurred at 1:26 pm on Saturday in the Qingxing coal mine in Helong.

Seventy-three people were working underground, and 55 of them were lifted to safety.

All of the injured were receiving treatment in hospitals and were in stable condition, the Jilin provincial information office said in a statement on Sunday.

The mine's senior managers have been detained by police, and the Qingxing coal mine's operating permit has been canceled, according to the statement.

The accident came after all Jilin coal mines were ordered to suspend operations following two coal mine accidents that claimed 53 lives.

Investigators believe Saturday's accident was caused by negligence, the statement said.

The Qingxing coal mine did not conduct safety checks and continued working illegally after the suspension order, and the local government failed to properly supervise it, according to the statement.

The province will send supervision teams to all 210 coal mines in the province to ensure they have halted production for safety inspections, the statement said.

On March 29 and again on April 1 explosions occurred at the Babao coal mine, which employs more than 3,500 people and belongs to the State-owned Tonghua Mining Group.

Seven officials responsible for the explosions were placed under investigation or detained, government authorities said.

only other thing i could find was the efforts in the earthquake rescue

22 April 2013 Last updated at 05:29 ET
China is continuing a massive rescue operation in Sichuan province, deploying thousands of workers, after a powerful earthquake on Saturday.

Rescue workers are using dynamite and heavy equipment to get through roads blocked by landslides to reach remote areas, reports say.

But reaching these areas has been a struggle, with bad weather and powerful aftershocks contributing to delays.

At least 188 people are known to have died in the quake, says state media.

More than 11,500 others have also been reported injured since the 6.6 magnitude quake struck at 08:02 local time (00:02 GMT).

More than 18,000 soldiers and police have been mobilised in the rescue efforts, state news agency Xinhua said on Sunday.

Twenty-three helicopters from the armed forces were also being deployed to help out in the operations, Xinhua said on Sunday, quoting an official statement.

Seeking relief

Some of those who have been made homeless are complaining that they have not yet received food or water, says the BBC's John Sudworth in Sichuan province.

Rescue workers are finding it hard to reach remote places Rescue teams had already reached the remote villages in mountainous Baoxing County on foot, but landslides were blocking access to aid trucks and preventing some of the casualties from being brought out.

Even in the more accessible areas of neighbouring Lushan county, the aid effort has been hampered by road congestion, our correspondent adds.

Officials have set up an outdoors hospital in Ya-an, the city closest to the epicentre.

"The biggest problem is that the worst-hit spots are spread out in the mountains and it is very hard for rescuers to get the injured people out," said Zhou Shaohua, chief surgeon at the People's Hospital of Lushan.

"It takes hours for them to be able to reach a place where they can catch a vehicle."

"I dare not go anywhere near a mountainside," a woman named Zhu was quoted by Agence-France Presse news agency, in the village of Baoxing, centre of Lushan county, as saying.

"Many people are worried that the rain will bring more devastation."

Correspondents say the hill villages, where farmers grow rice, vegetables and corn on terraced plots, were hit the hardest by the earthquake.

Sichuan province was also devastated by a massive quake five years ago that claimed tens of thousands of lives and left five million without homes.

Many of the collapsed buildings were schools and nurseries, leading to widespread criticism of local government's planning policies.

Although on the same fault line, this earthquake was much less powerful than the previous one.

Once again, though, it is the poor who have born the brunt of the disaster, with the biggest killer not the earthquake itself but poorly-constructed houses, our correspondent adds.

Found some interesting occurrences with in the government of Ch1n4:

QuoteChina Orders Troops and Tanks to North Korean Border

China is reportedly beefing up its military presence on the North Korean border amid heightening tensions in the region.

The troop mobilisation is said to be taking place along with deployment of dozens of tanks in the strategically important border region with North Korea, which is separated by the Yalu River.

The Chinese military is on high alert over the ongoing tensions in the Korean Peninsula.

Seems that there may be some other reasons other than religion aspects Deuem, IMHO.

The tension is getting very stretched for nerves over NK, so, may be a retaliation attempt by disgruntle NK Sympathizers? IDK for sure my friend, you just be watchful and aware of all happenings in your region of the world. ;)

Ok, I got just a little more data on the bast topic. 3 Chines lady officers were doing a routine inspection in the area, house to house, like a census count. They have been to my house every few years or so. While in the area they stumbled upon a house filled with over 14 people. Inside they saw arms and radioed a call in for help and a gun fire broke out. Think of the 3 gals as meter maids unarmed with notepads. In the end 6 of the 14 bad people were shot and 15 dood people died. The bast is un-certain how it happened. The other 8 bad guys were captured. So in reality 16 plus 6 died but they only post the good people so the bad people do not gain fame in any manner. The 3 gals were among the 15 dead.

Why make such villains martyr's, it is the way I would have dealt with this scenario as well. You didn't say anything more o f "WHO these Bad people were" Deuem? Are they Gorilla clans or another disgruntle  Group of the Ch1n3s3 Guv ? Or we they as I had suspected, NK sympathizers? Just curious.

If you look at this like cowboys and indians. The bad ones were the indians, or original people to the land.
They are having trouble with work and money in that area and blame the cowboys.
So it looks to be all internal. Each group here has an ethnic back ground and some hate others.
No different than the rest of the world. It seems like a "They were there first deal" fight.
We have had these surges before but I never heard of a gun battle and bombs.
Or could be a few pineapples were tossed in. Who knows? Most cops here do not even carry guns. It is very rare to even see one with a gun. The first time I saw my friend with one I had to ask him if it was real.  That's how surprised I was to even see one.
I think they have to be a certain rank before they can carry. They do love America and like to copy our ideas. One is a swat team. I have seen them here but never in any real action. They stay on the police base all the time unless needed.
Maybe they called them in, must have called a few teams in. By the way they are not military; they are police with training just like ours.

All of the above information was presented on National TV, so it is no secret released by me..

how sad that we still identify with small groups fighting other small groups
instead of realizing that as humans  we are a wonderous group
capable of so much that we could be unstoppable as a force of good

the victum mentality has to be dropped
