You may wonder why I would post this in the moon conspiracy section.

Well here is the thing.

In this new season, Ron Howard is in some of the episodes and plays himself.  It is very funny btw, if you like this kind of humor.

Anyways there is a scene where Ron talks to Michael Bluth, in his office and takes him into a model of the lunar module, for privacy.

Michael asks if the module is real and Ron gives this answer.

"No this is not real, it was the one they used to film the original moon landing.  They were not ready to go to the moon in 1969, so they filmed it in the studio where they filmed Gentle Ben.  My (Ron) brother and I hid in the rafters and watched them make it.  They really did go to the moon but not until 1972"

Wish I could give a link but it is on Netflix and have no way of posting one.

Anyways do you think Ron knows something??

I have never seen that series Mic, but all the same when something like that turn's up in a show that I do know the name through default  then it doe's make me go hmm :D

I have no definitive theory myself on the moon landing's apart from one, those bucket's of bolt's didn't go there, but at the same time I don't deny that people did go there as guest's and the bucket's of bolt's were part of a cover up  ;D

From everything I have read or seen over the year's that's about the best I can come up with :D

Other's may differ, and thats cool :)

One would think that Ron Howard may know things that many wouldn't since he produced Apollo 13 and no doubt did some digging for research.

It is hard to know if he was just poking fun at the conspiracy, or if he was actually telling the truth.  I would imagine that for many his off the cuff remark would go over many people's heads.  However for those of us that are suspicious, it does make you go ...... hmmmm!

Some of my fringe conspiracy buffs suggest we actually went to the moon in the 50's and went to Mars in the early 70's...I guess we'll never know - not before 2050 anyways - but I agree,  they didn't go in those nuts and bolts.
