I have a friend who's a meteorologist who noticed the same thing I have:

There seemed to be a big increase in UFO sightings across the world, leading up to the end of Dec.. After that, there was a lull, almost nothing.  UFO sites on the internet had almost nothing to report.

Now, they seem to be ramping up again.

Can't say i have looked into the UFO "flaps" that pop up at certain times of the year but it does raise more questions than answers.
Regarding the VID of Hon. Paul Hellyer, I have yet to research the man but i'm not surprised the clip has just been posted then it's the same old "move along nothing to see here" carry on but it does sadden me that it appears to be a flash in the pan.

How much more seriously can the subject of Alien/UFO contact with the earth get than a court sitting or whatever the footage is.It looks like a legit legal preceeding but alas again we only have this guy Hon Paul Hellyer's word for what he says.NO UNDENIABLE PROOF. oh well i just put it out there.

UFO Sightings In Canada Doubled In 2012, Breaking Previous Record

Canadians saw more UFOs than ever before. In 2012, 1,981 sightings (compared to 986 in 2011) were reported. That's almost double the previous annual record of 1,004 reports in 2008, according to CBC News.

"It's something across the board," said Canadian science writer Chris Rutkowski, director of Ufology Research, who has compiled the Canada UFO report since 1989. "People in Canada were actually looking up into the sky more [in 2012] than in previous years."

CBC News acquired documents under the Canadian Access to Information Act, indicating that government no longer has an interest in investigating UFOs.

Last year's UFO sightings were collected by civilian groups, who forward the information to Rutkowski.

"It is very easy to report online, anonymously, without any worry about judgment or retribution, so I think it is very likely people will be reporting things more often to civilian organizations," Rutkowski told CBC News.

The types of UFOs reported throughout Canada include typically seen disc-shaped objects, large squares, triangular black craft, balls of fire and even objects shaped like guitar picks.

Most UFO reports, whether in Canada, the U.S. or anywhere else in the world, can be easily explained after any serious investigation. Rutkowski estimates that 7.5 percent of last year's Canadian UFOs remain -- even temporarily -- unexplained.

"While there is no real difference between an average person seeing an unidentified thing in the sky and a pilot or police officer, there is every reason to think there are actually more things in the sky these days to be concerned about," according to Doubtful News.

"We have remote-controlled toys, balloons, Chinese lanterns, even deliberate hoaxes that people are making. Add to this the regular things in the sky that people mistake for weird, like normal aircraft, Venus, satellites or the moon.

"Just because there are a lot of unidentified things in the sky does not mean we are being invaded by aliens."

This is very interesting. Hellyer came out with his "disclosure" like about 2007-2008 time frame. It's like some of these sites JUST discovered the information. Maybe they are just trying to find something sort of safe to fill in, since they no longer do current events or news. Don't mind me I'm getting pretty cynical lately.

Oh i like this guy slipped past me, just goes to show gotta keep ya eye on the ball. Hard when you take a keen interest in everything conspiracy related,I used to be just a UFO buff but i'm in well over my head now where i just have snippets of everything rather than one main subject.
Call it a trade off.

Why is this demanded?!?? Don't y'all realize that such a thing in unattainable? You will NEVER get "undeniable" proof, there will always be some way, some One that denies.

The evidence you do have is more than enough to provide all the "proof" required, the only thing left is for you to actually "meet" an ET. I presume we all would have as much luck with that as we would meeting some One from an obscure area of Tibet. Point is; there's not many of us here, so running into one is rare...and ya prolly wouldn't know unless we told ya..

Any way, it seems a bit illogical to demand something unattainable.

Bad example as i have met 2 Tibetan monks(really)=so i may have met an alien ? I jest of course but i suppose it's all down to what you class as proof of ET,For example what about corso's admission that our leap in technology was with more than just insightful humans

I suppose One might think that way. But, do you think it would ever happen? Meet ET that is, face to face, shake his hand?

For all but a few very lucky people; meeting ET will never happen, even after ET is common place. So, if that is what is required, then y'all can't have disclosure.

But, then again, ET is not all that different than Stealthy's Tibetan Monks; have you met them? If no; do you accept that they exist?

The point I'm trying to make is that the kind of "proof" needed isn't going to be forthcoming, ever! Further that the evidence already in your possession is sufficient to demonstrate beyond shadow of doubt that ET is not only real, but visiting and living on Earth.

Is it? A bad example? To me the Tibetan Monks are more "unreal"; I've never met a Tibetan, Monk or otherwise, but, I have met several ETs (7 or 8 species). So ... I gotta say: KEWL! (that's better than some damn Gray or Nordic any day!!)
