Any Floridians know whats going on down south in the everglades

I came across some story about the government shut it off from public access south of I-75 alligator alley highway. People report military type operations are going on there as people are kept out.

I did a google map of the area south of I-75 and seen a big runway in place with hardly any buildings onsite. I should have screen capped it so I can reference it now in this thread but I been looking and can't find it today.

Anyone, any idea what maybe going on down there.
