TR3b hunter or my new laser

ive been saving up and waiting 6weeks for this laser.this is my first high power laser pointer.
its 1.5watts of 445nm blue monster.its custom built by flaminpyro.
i have been a bundle of nerves waiting on this critter.handing over one quarter of my families monthly salary to a stranger is rough.
i plan to use this to hunt invisible ufos.and to piss them off.tonight i will post nightime pics of its performance.yes i know what it looks like.save those comments.lol.and now for your viewing pleasure i present flaminpyro 1.5 watt aurora 445nm laser pointer.

i paid 250$ for the laser,2batteries,a charger ,cheap safety glasses and two day shipping.the container or host as the pros call it is stainless steel with double orings at each end to semi water proof it.the tip is a custom made hydra design by the maker.his videos are on youtube and he is a highly respected member of laserpointerforums.just in case any of yall have loose change to buy something like this.i can surely vouche for the service and quality this fellow puts out.

445nm is blue and 532nm is green and 650 is red. I have the green 532 and it supposed to reach out for 2 miles. I don't know but I do know it bounces off the water tower 3/4 mile over there. The green lasers are the most visible for spotting.

At night, I play with the neighbors down the road. I make them see a green beam dancing around the grass and reflecting off signs along the road. One guy was dancing around his driveway and I pointed the beam at the fire address that sits by the road and the reflection is magnified. He stopped jumping around and walked out on the road trying to see what that green beam was shining out there.

I also have the yukon ranger digital night vision. Its 5X and does an excellent nightvision show. ALSO, I have several sony nightvision cameras to catch stuff out there in the darkness.

HAHA so i'm not the only one who went through a "LASER" phase

Back when i had cash/job i was buying all kinds of pointers in every colour you could get I even made some burners from scratch.
A word of warning though YOU ONLY HAVE ONE PAIR OF EYES. stay safe.
Oh and that is COOL robo A true beast. I wonder what the real rating is? can you get it checked to find it's peak power?There is a way to sort of find out using a LED in reverse and a test meter but it's not really efficient,More of a cool trick.
I would be interested to know it's spec's as i used to be in most of the cool laser forums when i was in my laser phase.You would not believe the amount i have destroyed modding them to the max.

Best i had was a WICKED LASER in 532nm rated at 200MW and that lit cigs.Your 1.5WATT insane & beastly . I LOVE IT.

Robo, you must reside outside the states cause high power lasers are no no. I wanted to buy from dx.com and they state they will not send to the states. I got my low 5 milliwat laser off ebay for 15 bucks and only wanted it to point way up in the sky and do what you have in mind, call a ufo down.

Better be carefull though, I read a story some guy did that and a ufo beam came down on him.

I'm far from rich and bargain for most stuff. The yukon goes for 399.99 but I traded some stuff and a 100 bucks.

yea flaminpyro tested it and it peaks at 1.56.with 1.3 being average.i accidentally deleted the test when clearing my pms.
i wanted to show what it would do but the new charger he sent me was defective so ill have to wait.
they are banned by the fda so customs can seize them but they are not illegal.but if some one wants to try and seize mine then they can try.but its hard to take something when your permanently blind.
plus most cheap chinese are underated on purpose so that they slip through customs.after buying american .i want even consider buying chinese.the price is same and quality and service are better.when i get my charger in i will post pics and vid.

That's really impressive Robo, must have a top end diode and a really decent driver.
With laser's you really do get what you pay for.Look forward to the pics/vids.

No need to bother messing about stripping it down to mod it for more juice cos 1.56 WATT peak is insane.Talk about overkill

I used to get most of mine through customs because they were labeled "BALL POINT PEN" 
Never really been a problem here in the UK. But now and again you do get the odd idiot pointing them at "earthly" pilots and that is a definite NO NO straight to jail do not pass go.

But it's not just a UK problem.They are rather good for killing CCTV & effective tool against a tyrannical police state if it ever got real nasty on the streets.

at sa.exactly.its a v5driver.hydraulicly filled with heat sink paste.no air bubbles.strict duty time of 60seconds on/60seconds off.copper heat sink.
for my first laser pointer.i wanted compact but the best of the best by the best.if my theory is right.the high quality ones by famous builders will be worth a fortune in the future.like a painting.
cant wait to get my charger.ive got a feeling this thing would light a whole room up ones its got a full charge.even with the battery almost dead.i shot a beam 400yds last night for about three seconds.not on long enuf to take a pic though.and not strong enuf to burn stuff.got to have a full charge first.
then chaos will reign in my neck of the world.hahaha!
