i'll tell ya one of my tales..it's real but pretty long ago

a friend worked for a vet and we used to catch the multitute of cats left at farmers barns
and sneak them in to the vet's to be nuetered and then took em back to the farms

what can i say we were a lot younger then and thought it was the right thing to do.. the farmers were happy with us cause we always ask permission

anywho
we were back in a field trying to catch this ellusive kitty and we split up on a dirt jeep trail
i was looking at the ground..which was dusty and dry and saw what looked like big cat
foot prints...there had been rumors of a cougar ..my plan was to  follow them to see where they went into the woods..

about 10 feet into that those cat tracks ( and i do know my tracks) turned into three toes from one stride to another

and yeah i could move pretty damn fast then and got outta there....
my friend did not want to see it and we didn't go back to that area

as the years have been many in between then and now.. i'm not sure if i would know which farm we were at...so i just stay away from that section of farms altogether

yep ..western pa is some kinda hotbed...and no one seems to have a clue as to why

turned on the tv for the weather and had to go thur some channels..
this was showing and i laughed at how young they all were.. dated 2004
the first part are the kecksburg folk and part of the story with Stan and
those Stan Gorgon speaks of in the coast to coast program above
