Many people have never heard about the extreme longevity of some Rockfish species.  They could teach us the secrets of Negligible Senescence - Not Really Aging at all.

And what do $%^^&@ people do?  Hook them for dinner or mount them for trophies??  WTF!
They need to be protected and studied, not used for Filet O' Fish.

These creatures are a miracle of evolution.  They've done it and we treat it like trivia!  Arghhhhh!

I would agree, its sad. I mean, who wants to eat a fish
thats 200 years old? Crying out loud, who could tell the
difference between a fake plastic one anywho, and that
one.

I would love it if fish like this could talk.
