I dearly wish we had a movement here in Oz to stop the Insane Electricity Bills.

There's one wordwide. This (and other similar forums) is it.

Find a free energy idea that is within your scope, carefully test and verify it, publish your findings, and hey presto, the goal of zero energy bills moves that bit closer to us all.

(Although you'll possibly still pay for someone like me to come and service the machinery unless you are hardcore DIY)
