Wow, Stargates popping up in China!! 

I guess Stargates are mainstream now.  They are starting to show up in commercials for chewing gum nowadays for petes sake.

There was a movie that used a similar stargate... they droped a pod into it I forget the name and was trying to find it  It used a huge machine like the one in the commercial

ETA:  Wow that was not so hard  found it using "space travel machine"

Are you referring to the movie Contact, with Jodi foster? Was a very good movie, In my opinion!. Yes, I thought about this movie, as soon as I saw the "China Ring"!
