Did the US government test a flying Saucer at secret Area 51 ?

This was originally  posted in John Lear's Secret bases section... Not sure if a ref should also be made in the UFO & Alien section...

Sgt R&R and I must had created a similar thread at the time and "Z" seems to have merged them together in Johns section.

Did the US government test a flying saucer at double-super-secret Area 51?


UFO sightings were reported near Area 51, the cold war-era test site in Nevada that was publicly acknowledged for the first time recently. Could they be related to a US flying saucer project?

What a nice smokescreen they are trying to float -

'Yeah that's the ticket, all them UFO sightings near Area 51 were OUR saucer program, yeah, THAT's the ticket!'

Bet there were SOME craft We created...

But yeah.  Many were of ET origin.

But, A51, since they were in 'our' control and 'our' area, wouldn't they be 'ours'? ;) ::)
