Fox & Friends are deeply concerned with poor and underprivileged at-risk children.

On the August 21 edition of Fox & Friends, co-host Steve Doocy claimed "a brand new federal program" would spend $224 million to send "government home inspectors to your house" to help at-risk children, and asked if this was "Obamacare trumping your right to privacy and snooping on you and your family." Fox Business' Stuart Varney agreed that it was "an intrusion directly into your home and the way you raise your children," and the two proceeded to claim that "the Obama snooper" would visit families randomly and unannounced. On-screen text described the program as "Nanny state solutions: Forced home visits for 'at-risk' kids."
Oh, no they're not. They're making up another Obamacare lie. Here's the real program which isn't even "brand new," having been announced in 2011.

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius [...] announced $224 million to help at-risk families voluntarily receive home visits from nurses and social workers to improve maternal and child health, child development, school readiness, economic self-sufficiency, and child abuse prevention. As part of the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program, these grants are funded by the Affordable Care Act and are awarded to state agencies that applied for the grants in 49 states across the country.
V.O.L.U.N.T.A.R.Y. Which means, roughly, you the parent gets to decide if "government inspectors" (nurses and social workers) can "intrude" (be invited) into your home to "snoop" on your family (provide services like "educating parents about child development and supporting school readiness, linking low-income mothers to prenatal health care, ensuring children have access to health care and immunizations, helping families access supplemental food programs and financial aid, and encouraging healthy parent-child relationships to reduce incidents of child abuse").
None of which will stop Fox from lying about the program, no more than it will stop Republicans from picking it up as the next big Obamacare lie. Because they care so much about the children, too.

I still say it is a first step to chipping and having the ability to "check up on" Citizens.  We have seen it before, People, where something is passed as benign and even "helpful," only to be added onto or hidden meaning emerges with ugly head.

Social Security was passed with absolute assurances it would never be used to track Us.  See how well THAT worked?  Now We are IDENTIFIED by that number.  And oh, yes.  We are tracked thereby.

Conspiracy Theory Websites Crash At Same Time As Government Shutdown

Does the fact that three of the top 'conspiracy theory' websites in the world crashed at the same time as the US government shutdown occurred prove that said websites are front organizations owned by the CIA or NSA as a data mining operation? Are the websites Godlilkeproductions.com, AboveTopSecret.com and LunaticOutpost.com owned by the US government? It's long been known that merely mentioning Tavistock or Stanford Research on GLP will get you banned; I've tested it several times in the past. If these websites aren't owned by the govt, then why did they all crash at the same time as the shutdown?  We all know that governments love their deception of the masses as the video below shares. Conspiracy Reddit is having a blast with this one.

What's Affected by a Government Shutdown?

Looks like the all powerful dot gov is being diss'd by our governor here in Wisconsin. Scott Walker says no, the parks are staying open in Wisconsin. I like this guy. No foolin around here by dot gov and no rfid chips by law either.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is defying a directive from the National Park Service to close down several state parks that receive federal funding in the wake of the partial government shutdown.

The Republican governor has directed the state Natural Resources Department to keep open parks that receive a majority of their funding from the state, The Hill reported.

The department recently intervened after the Fish and Wildlife Service placed barricades near a  Mississippi River boat launch because it was on federal land. The barricades were removed because of a decades-old agreement between Wisconsin and the federal government, state officials said.

FEDS TRY TO CLOSE THE OCEAN BECAUSE OF SHUTDOWN

Breitbart is reporting that just before the weekend, the National Park Service informed charter boat captains in Florida that the Florida Bay was "closed" due to the shutdown. Until government funding is restored, the fishing boats are prohibited from taking anglers into 1,100 square-miles of open ocean. Fishing is also prohibited at Biscayne National Park during the shutdown.

The Park Service will also have rangers on duty to police the ban. Of access to an ocean. The government will probably use more personnel and spend more resources to attempt to close the ocean, than it would in its normal course of business.

OBAMA ILLEGALLY FURLOUGHING CIVILIAN DEFENSE EMPLOYEES AT STRATCOM

On Friday, Rep. Lee Terry (R-NE) told Breitbart News that President Obama was illegally furloughing approximately two thousand federal civilian defense contractors at Offutt Air Force Base, in direct contravention of the Pay Our Military Act, passed last week through Congress and signed by Obama himself. Those four thousand employees represent approximately two thirds of the civilian personnel at Offutt Air Force Base.

The Pay Our Military Act explicitly promises "such sums as are necessary to provide pay and allowances to the civilian personnel of the Department of Defense (and the Department of Homeland Security in the case of the Coast Guard) whom the Secretary concerned determines are providing support to members of the Armed Forces." According to Terry, Congress intent was to keep support personnel on the job, especially given that US Strategic Command is operated out of Offutt Air Force Base. STRATCOM "integrates and coordinates the necessary command and control capability to provide support with the most accurate and timely information for the President, the Secretary of Defense, other National Leadership and regional combatant commanders."

"I'm very upset with the White House decision to force furloughs, which I think are illegal furloughs because the law he signed last Saturday," Terry told Breitbart News exclusively. "This is a political game that they're playing, endangering this country. They've had to lay off over 60 percent of their civilian employees, who are all basically retired military who just keep the same jobs and become civilians. These are integral people to protecting our nuclear arsenal and to our military readiness. This is a dangerous game this president is playing."

"Airplane mechanics are being furloughed," a representative from Terry's office stated. "How is that not critical to getting an airplane off the ground if we need to? This is an illegal furlough. The President is completely breaking the law. Congress passed it unanimously, he signed it into law, and now he's breaking that very law."

Area 51 flights suspended due to government shutdown

According to a tweet last night from KLAS Las Vegas 8 News Now investigative reporter George Knapp, the government shutdown has even affected the workers at Area 51, the top secret Air Force base in Nevada that is rumored to house crashed extraterrestrial spacecraft.
Last night Knapp tweeted: "Govt. shutdown hits Area 51. Flights from LV to Groom Lake are suspended. Top-secret Employees furloughed."

We just received an email from George Knapp. He says that they had observed the regularly scheduled daily flights appear to have stopped. He also says he checked with sources that notified them "current employees were sent home until further notice." However, no one would go on the record. He also notes, "I'm sure there are some contractors still there at Groom–especially security— but the bulk of whatever they are working on is suspended for now."

Knapp says that KLAS 8 News Now is planning on airing more details tonight, so those of you in the Las Vegas area be sure to tune in, the rest of us will need to keep an eye on their website for more.

Obama has ordered the Grand Canyon to stay closed, even after the state of Arizona and local businesses have offered to cover the costs necessary to keep it open. In other words, the shutdown isn't about the money — it's about hurting the American people just because he can.

Remember, Obama walled off the WWII memorial, threatened elderly veterans with arrest, and has shut down hundreds of privately funded parks. The man isn't trying to fix anything — it's all going according to plan.

Remember, politicians are motivated by power. Obama is no exception. Everything he does has a simple agenda: maximize control of citizens, increase spending, and consolidate power.

Park Rangers Ordered to 'Make Life Difficult' During Shutdown

National Park Service rangers are being ordered to "make life difficult" during the government shutdown, according to the Washington Times.

After the shutdown began, park police have been barring tourists from a number of popular attractions nationwide, including the WWII memorial. Even privately-owned landmarks, such as Mount Vernon, are being told by the National Park Service to close their doors.

The Times reported:

The Park Service appears to be closing streets on mere whim and caprice. The rangers even closed the parking lot at Mount Vernon, where the plantation home of George Washington is a favorite tourist destination. That was after they barred the new World War II Memorial on the Mall to veterans of World War II. But the government does not own Mount Vernon; it is privately owned by the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association. The ladies bought it years ago to preserve it as a national memorial. The feds closed access to the parking lots this week, even though the lots are jointly owned with the Mount Vernon ladies. The rangers are from the government, and they're only here to help.

"It's a cheap way to deal with the situation," an angry Park Service ranger in Washington says of the harassment. "We've been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It's disgusting."
