How easily we were soothed into a reality.

You have to remember that at the time Germany just came out of the Depression and after WWII they were hevily sanctioned so jobs were almost non existent. Then along comes a smooth talker and promises you a job, a car , a no speed limit highway and someone to blame for your suffering :D

QuoteI guess that's how we are led.
We are after all monkeys with big ideas.
We love to think we can dress up and conquer.

People are basically lazy sheep.  In the Renaissance World we call them "Good Time Charlies"  only there for the free food and fun, then scurry like cockroaches when the work needs doing.

It is very easy for ny leader with a good sounding idea to get followers, whether like me setting up my own small Kingdom, or a cult leader, asocial clu, or a dictator :P It's all the same principal and it has been like that since the first caveman took on being head of the Clan

A perfect example today is the Anonymous mask :D  Look how easily people don that without any clue what the real cause is ;)

People tend to forget (Or is it the flowery rewriting of history by gutter scurrying humanists?) that the Whole World, at that time, had the same views as the Nazi's.
England, Spain, Russia, Italy etc. all expelled the Jews and treated them like scum. It all came from Darwin's "Theory of Evolution" and his cousin's "Eugenics" Theories.
Hitler merely learned all the "Knowledge: of the time, coalesced it into a "Viable" plan, and carried it out.
In essence, you can say, "We (The western world) created Hitler", through our inaccurate "Science" and lack of moralistic fortitude.

Frankenstein's monster has arisen again, Germany is once again in power in Europe, what will they do this time?
Sit down before fact like a small child, and be prepared to give up every preconceived notion, follow humbly wherever and to whatever abyss nature lead, or you will learn nothing. —T. H. Huxley

That is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Neither did the English.

QuoteThe Allied governments and their leaders have often been accused of failing to respond quickly enough to Nazi persecution of the Jews. In this article, Martin Gilbert focusses on the attempts made by Winston Churchill to respond to the crisis, both in private and as Britain's Prime Minister.

Adolf Hitler kisses the hand of the Duchess of Windsor as her husband the Duke looks on, admiringly. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor visited Germany in 1937 before WWII broke out across Europe. They were outspoken supporters of Nazi fascism and suspected of spying for Germany. At the beginning of the war, the Windsors were whisked out of France to safe haven in the Bahamas, where the Duke served out the war years as governor. There he could do Britain little harm - and he was less likely of being kidnapped by the Germans who were reportedly interested in installing him as a puppet king in a conquered Great Britain under German rule.

We are used to seeing the British Royal Family plastered across our television screens, magazine covers and tablet newspapers. As a general rule, the stories are not enlightening and are focussed on things such as Princess Catherine's new earrings and Prince Harry's carnal endeavours in remote tropical nightclubs.

If the media were truly free and unencumbered by 'those from above', facts such as the following would be acknowledged   just as freely, instead of coming off as a half-baked compilation of conspiracist rambling.

1. The real name of the Royal Family (before it was changed to Windsor in 1917) is Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. They hail from Bavaria, Germany. Queen Victoria's grandfather was the reigning British monarch, George III, the eldest son of The Prince Frederick, Prince of Wales and Augusta of Saxe-Gotha.

Her German-born mother was known as Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld. The modern royal family was founded in 1840 when Queen Victoria married Albert of Saxe-Coburg, a Germany duchy.

2. Queen Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Philip, have a great, great grandmother in common: Queen Victoria.

3. Two of Prince Philip's German relatives invited to the royal wedding (William & Kate) on Friday, Philipp zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Markgraf Max von Baden, belong to families, who had many members in the Nazi party.

4. It is well documented that Prince Philip's sister, Sophia, was married to Christopher of Hesse-Cassel, an SS colonel who named his eldest son Karl Adolf in Hitler's honour. Indeed, all four of Philip's sisters married high-ranking Nazis. The prospect of the former Nazis and Nazi sympathisers attending his 1947 wedding to the future Queen of England meant he was allowed to invite only two guests.

5. Nazi links emerged in a book recently that featured never before published photographs of Prince Philip aged 16 at the 1937 funeral of his elder sister Cecile, flanked by relatives in SS and Brownshirt uniforms. Another picture shows his youngest sister, Sophia, sitting opposite Hitler at the wedding of Hermann and Emmy Goering. Philip was forced to concede that his family found Hitler's attempts to restore Germany's power and prestige 'attractive' and admitted they had 'inhibitions about the Jews'.

6. Prince Philip also helped start the World Wildlife Fund in 1961 with former Nazi SS Officer Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, who is closely affiliated with the founders of the Bilderberg international power group, and Sir Julian Huxley, Aldous Huxley's brother, who was also the President of the British Eugenics Society.

7. Prince Charles is a key patron at the Optimum Population Trust. Colleagues include Futurist and top Eco-Fascist James Lovelock, who recently called for the ending of freedom in order that an overriding global power made up of "a few people with authority" can oversee the radical stemming of the planet's human population in order to combat climate change.

8.Princess Michael of Kent, is the wife of Queen Elizabeth's first cousin. Princess Michael's father, Baron Gunther von Reibnitz, was exposed in the 1980s as a former Nazi party member and SS officer. She has a history of racist outbursts.

9. Reports state that the Queen mother referred to black people as "nig-nogs" or "blackamoors", opposed all forms of immigration. She backed white minority rule in Rhodesia and lamented that former apartheid leader P.W. Botha got bad press.

10. Before World War 2 began, the Queen Mother was a supporter of making concessions to Hitler and the Nazis, a feeling shared by a large number of British aristocrats who admired the way Hitler was dealing with the Communists.
For some 50 years royal documents were held in vaults at Windsor Castle that detailed the abdicated king Edward VIII's relations with Hitler and the Nazis. They included captured German documents describing the Windsors' meeting with Hitler in 1937 and plans to restore Edward, the Duke of Windsor to the throne if the Nazis won the war. Some of these documents still remain hidden from the public

Yes the Royal family are a bunch of inbred half-Germans.  Great isn't it.  :o

Not guilty of warcrimes like the last few POTUS, but a bunch of parasites nonetheless.

Pim I'd suggest they are in it up to their tiaras .
Deniability is not an option after all these years.
I'd say any steering committee would need a mandate stamped by those
F€uckers.

I'd like to watch this, but I have to limit my Internet use. I surf from a smartphone.

Were there any gems, or should I hunker down, spend the cash for the bandwidth, and just "watch the d*** thing"?

The question of 'are there any gems' depends on your level of knowledge about the subject.

My curiosity was raised right off the bat by the use of a woman then a man gushing all over themselves about what a great hero this film maker was.  ???

I was then waiting for the other shoe to drop, and it didn't take long.

This is a bit like 'Springtime for Hitler' but not funny.

Pay attention to the soundtrack and what moods are presented during which portrayals.

Interviews that are heavily edited also give obvious clues.

By mid movie you expect to see Adolf flying above Germany in colored tights here to save the day.

A well crafted production sure to bring a tear to the eye for poor misunderstood Adolf by those unable to discern when their leg is being pulled.

Odd that 'the Czechoslovakia incident' is not discussed for a film that supposedly 'presents all the evidence' eh?

Holocaust denial is saved for the grand finale.

To balance this denial, I present another piece of evidence some may be unaware of.

Elvis -

Your 'top 10' posted above is most informative. Thanks for that.

It also presents an allegation that the Jews promised to single- handedly deliver the US into joining the war, if their demands were met.

We are then treated to a long slow motion version montage of Private Ryan landing on the beaches of Normandy with tearful violins playing as the soundtrack.

Carefully calculated to make Americans feel 'Look at our our poor boys being slaughtered, all because of those dam Jews!'

::)
