Three nights is a row? Wow... and this photos sure looks odd for a meteorite

QuoteLOS ANGELES (KGO) -- A bright meteor lit up the Bay Area sky on Friday night.

Bay Area News Group photographer Ray Chavez snapped pictures of it from San Lorenzo and then tweeted them.

This is the third night in a row that large meteors have been spotted.

Wow, Deuem, that does not look right at all.

I actually went back and did it several times, each time with the 4 different processes just to make sure it was not me. If the picture is out of a book or off a non digilal source sometimes they go haywire. But never the sky/ That is like a 4 tone gradiant sky. With a postage stamp on it. HUH?

That style of contrail is usually off a jet airlinner flying high and west at dusk. Without a better photo it looks like someone just slopped this together as a sample of what someone else saw.

It probably should read "(photo consructed courtesy Ray Chavez/Bay Area News Group)"

I usually don't print the ones like this but I no longer care if these people see it or not. Do better!

Yeah.  Likely a composite image that was constructed for illustration purposes...but without disclosure that the image is a construct.
