Effects of Egypts Political & economic situation on its tourism .

Watched a TV program about the recent Political and Economic situation of Egypt and How many of its archaeological sites have been allowed to go into decline as they are no longer being looked after for future generations. Tourism has declined severely  from 10,000 visitors a day that it effects lively hood of many of the people who's work replied upon it...Many of the tour guides can not even afford to feed their camels & animals due to severe lack of tourists.

Very Sad if the situation is no resumed soon.  :'(

Reporter Aidan Hartley and director Alex Nott travel to Egypt to investigate the shocking effects the political unrest is having on the tourism industry. The pair find ancient archaeological sites being plundered by armed looters, former guides trying to survive without money or food, and the piles of dead horses and camels next to the pyramids, the same animals which were formerly used to help transport tourists
