Feel free to interject and add your own should you wish.
This will be ongoing as and when i can read through the next batch.

APOLLO 11
DAY 4 PAGE 96.
CDR Commander Nell A. Armstrong
CMP Command module pilot Michael Collins
LMP Lunar module pilot Edwin E. Aldrin,

It says observe the lunar surface.

CMP  That's what it says you ought to supposed to be
                             doing.

LMP   It's brown; it's brown.
CMP  Brown all around. There's no doubt which way that
                             little crater hit.
LMP   Here's that same one going by again, Neil, remember?
                             That bright Job?
CDR  Yes.
LMP  Man, there's white stuff all over - and it's black
                            right around the rim.
IRP   That's a spectacular crater.
CDR  Did you shoot some pictures while you were over
                             there?
CMP  No, it's Just going by - we'd better get it later;
there will be better times. If the damn antenna
                             isn't in the way -
CMP  Boy, there must be nothing more desolate than to
be inside some of these craters, these conical ones.

CDR   People that live in there probably never get out.

DAY 4 PAGE 119.

CMP   There go Sidewinder and Diamondback. God, if you
ever saw checkpoints in your life, those are it.
CDR   But ... we don't get to see them.
CMP   You don't?
CDR   No, we roll over right here at this little - well,
you see Boot Hill coming up right here?
CMP   Yes, yes, yes.
CDR   And Just beyond it that's - that crater right on
                            track there, the big one?
CMP     That's Mount Marilyn? Past Boot Hill?
LMP   No, Duke Hill.
CMP  Duke Hill?
          No, I'm sorry ... that's - -
CDR  Duke Island, Duke Island.
CMP  Oh God, look at that Moltke; he's my favorite ...
Look at that son of a bitch. You see all those
roads - triangular roads leading right past him?
CDR  Yes.
CMP  That's US 1, I guess, huh?

APOLLO 14
CDR Commander Alan B. (Al) Shepard, Jr.
CMP Command module pilot Stuart A. (Stu) Eoosa
LMP Lunar module pilot Edgar D. (Ed) Mitchell

Page 118 day 4

          MARK. Mark, mark, mark.
CMP  Boy, I'm sure glad we cut out that TV show.
LMP   Yes.
CMP  It really worried me, when I saw where it was.
Glad we got sort of a pseudoexcuse - to cut it out.
LMP   Yes, there it is.
CMP  This is really something. The most unreal looking
:real thing I've ever seen. If that makes any
                             sense (laughter).
                             Probably not.
CDR  ... Yes, it is ... vegetation. Something as common
reference, you know - familiar reference. So you
don't know how far above you are. So it makes it
look like the scale is ...

Page 120 day 4

CMP  Yes, that's one of our targets. That's one of
                             Farouk's favorite craters.
                             Pretty damn interesting one, too.
Really an interesting one. Huh? That one ...
looks like ... got a rugged one right out here -
                             with the central peaks.

Farouk has gone on record as
                             saying they are dikes.
CMR  High Sun. That's one right down there; Just shows
how it dominates the whole photograph. Just an
extremely bright crater. Sun angle Just isn't
high enough for you to see it here .... Yes,
                             they're mining it [?], I think.
CDR  What's the name of that one?
CMP  It has no name. I've called it the Bright One.

Page 145 Day 4

Well, I think it's got a reddish tint to it out
the window. Sort of like, you know, the southwest
desert. You know, red hasn't been mentioned
                     before.
Did you see Tsiolkovsky over there?
Oh, sure; that's Tsiolkovsky. Okay. I've got it.
Yes. That mother is black out there, isn't it?
and flat. And there are really a lot more color
                     differences than I expected.
CDR Okay. What's that one that we talked about the
other time that had that bench - the bench that
                     looked like a quarry.

Amaterasu

For a gray surface with nothing but empty, lifeless craters...  They sure make some interesting comments.
"If the universe is made of mostly Dark Energy...can We use it to run Our cars?"

"If You want peace, take the profit out of war."

Elvis Hendrix

Thank you lovely Amy, I went into brain fry mode. I was trying to write whilst dodging my boss.
Yes they sure do.  :)

Yes they sure do.  :)
I hope you dodge your boss as good as you wrote the post, it's perfectly readable. :)

Are those from the On-Board Voice Transcripts?

Elvis Hendrix

Thanks Armap. Yes your right they are. They take a bit of digging through but some comments are interesting. :)

That's some very odd conversations Elvis.

Great research!

rdunk

Elvis, that deserves jingle in your basket!! These conversations are very interesting - just to read them as they occurred. Of course we have heard the stories about these conversations, but just to see them like this is excellent!!

We will be looking forward to others you hopefully find, that are likewise interesting!!! Add all of them up, and maybe there is a "telling story"!!

Eighthman

I'm having trouble locating your quotes.  Maybe I'm thick but they seem to be listed as hours into the mission (I guess) rather than pages.

On Apollo 11, at 086:54:51 they talk about 'roads' . At 086:16:05, they mention odd crater edges that are scalloped or look like seashells.

My eyes may be too tired to find the Apollo 14 stuff.  I tried to find the 'vegetation' stuff.

Good stuff. Thanks for posting it.

Elvis Hendrix

Thanks guys :)
Eighthman  I should have been more accurate with the link. This should help for A14.

Go down to page  118 day 4 for the vegetation remark.

This should help with 11. It's all in days and pages.
These PDFs are worth saving
to your hard drives for future digging.
Cheers and more to come :)

Mission Impossible for you, I would be interested to hear if you think there are any blacked out areas. I would think if they really said something like look at that big UFO there, it might be deleted. So do you think there are holes or can't tell.Conversations tend to be subject related and might show a hole or two.

Deuem

love the rabbit and tossed in a shilling for the good work...

Ha, thanx D. Yes there are plenty missing words in All the texts.
They use dots and dashes to show " garbled" words etc.
But it can be in amongst very telling dialogue!
I was just thinking about that today so I think you have a very valid point.
Hmm that is something that needs more attention.
Cheers
Elvis.

Very good, you understand what I am thinking. If you have these hole, please add them. Maybe one of us can pick up a pattern in the conversation and fill in the holes. Or at least have fun making some up.

That and missing time talking for long(ish) periods of time. :)
