Help: PEGGY'S OWN RADIO SHOW

like the title says.  i have some interesting software options to turn skype recordings into a live stream for like a radio show. so far, all the applications are free to use.  however, if we wanted to allow listeners to call in, we would need to buy a skype number for $5/a year

anyway, i'd like to make a peggy radio broadcast.  all the people featured on it, would be members of the forum and/or suggested guests .  to do that with the least amount of expense i have been doing alot of research. 

essentially what we want to do is record ourselves talking on skype, and have it broadcast live to a clickable link on the internet. some have used the input/output software to broadcast to itunes, but i don't want to use a proprietary software like that as it would require the person have itunes installed. 

so the following is what we need
-someone who understands how to configure input/output software for connecting sound devices, similar to a virtual audio cable.
-the ability to provide the streaming data on a page on the internet

Well we had 2 shows with Pang radio, and another one scheduled for december.

Bill Allred was the driving force behind both events, he also had the contacts.
Sadly, a lot of stuff fell apart when he left us, at least i know he (1)knows all the answers, and (2) isn't suffering any more.

I will do anything i can to help, we must keep the show going, i can stream, record vid from any media, and upload files direct to Peggy for peeps to download, at least 50 megs. And i would be happy to pay for the skype channel, i can afford it

ooh,   i am trying to start a radio show for pegasus, where i'm the host of the show.  the reason being is, i have more spare time than anyone here other than maybe amy and amy and i have been brainstorming already about this. when we originally started talking about it, it was to get her book out there, and get people listening to her talk about it. then i realized if we did that and it was live stream, we could essentially have 12 hours of recorded show with various forum members and invited guests, which would then be on repeat for 12 hours, while i rested. lol

what we need is someone to help me set up the virtual audio cable, so that skype and an audio recording device can communicate with each other, and then stream the information to the internet.  the name of the virtual audio cable is jack and it has its own server too, so i think it can be set up to stream live to the internet.  i mean i saw someone using soundflower, which is a mac virtual audio cable, to stream skype live to itunes.

The first 12 hours are easy, then the next become harder and harder. A friend of mine in the states does one and he ended up just doing one day a week for four hours.

I have a program that makes you sound like your on the radio. But is an after effect, not live, Think about doing an hour, pop up some slides and make a weekly vid. That is easy to do. Just grab snaps from the week, drop in the audio and make the movie. Or pick a post, grab some users and go at it. 12 hours a day is very difficult to maintain. Suggest to start off with the above and work your way up.

This is real easy to do to get your feet wet, then you could post the audio one way and the peggy vid on UT or other sites. Pauli or A51 can do the open and close vids.  make a small team, cut to a song if needed or paid commercial. Charge on views.

"Audio recording device" as in independent piece of hardware?

I don't know about these things (besides what I just saw as the result of some searches ), but I think things are easier than that, but I may be completely wrong.

too many hands in the pot that are already preoccupied by real life (copyright, trademark by e.vegh, inc).

need to keep it simple.  one host handling the interviews and the  heres and theres.  if you want it to have something, design it and i'll stick it in there. otherwise, it'll get bogged down in testosterone land.  haha. 

this is not supposed to be a big complicated production. i've already had a radio show with john lear as my co-host and he only managed to get on the show twice because of real life.   z wouldn't get on it at all as he said he was not comfortable with talking to large groups of people.   but i managed to interview several people, so i know what you mean about the complications of keeping it full up.  i mean, there were people i interviewed that i wish i would've been able to interview longer but my show was only an hour long on friday nights.
