The legend of a supposed "hovering rock" in the Green Mountain range has permeated throughout the area for a number of years.   After initial  research in native american oral histories and geography scanning, the Crypto Skeptic Team took a weekend to find the location.  The boulder is named for the Waubanaukee Indians and found in the area known as Tahwakbedeeeewadso or Saddle Mountain, Vermont.   Off of an old grown over deer trail, the boulder hovers over another inexplicably and stays completely locked in the position seen here.  Second day in the field showed strong electromagnetic readings on the instruments.

The exact location will remain undisclosed.

Conclusion: real.  The base boulder or land  must have a natural inhomogeneous magnetic frequency field, creating the levitation coil, to induce an immense levitation force to hold the floating boulder in place.

Could you imagine finding that in the woods!

it makes one wonder ....if a tree feel in the woods would u hear it? mabe it floats? lol but anway this would be the greatest  rock garden ever.

i cant seem to find much onit yet though.

Primitive camping is allowed only in the lower elevations and away from trails, roads, and water, in accordance with the "Vermont Guide to Primitive camping on State Lands". Otherwise, overnight camping is permitted only in Green Mountain Club shelters and lodges, and at Hump Brook Tenting Area. Shelters and Lodges are supervised by GMC from May to October with a nominal fee for overnight use. There is a 2-night limit. The shelters are open year-round, and reservations are not accepted. Open fires are permitted only in tent platform fire rings and in designated primitive camping areas. camping facilities are also available at nearby Little River State Park.

While waiting for the debunkers to pounce....we must ask ourselves....can this be as simple as a geologically magnetic formation, perhaps a pair of erratics from a distant location, locked together due to high levels of inherent magnetism?.....then...how did they align perfectly?
Did they remain after melting ice withdrew, leaving them intertwined forever? Or, could they have been placed this way by a human hand, and left as a reminder of an older time of the planet of differing gravity and magnetic field placement?

Or, is it a hoax?

I cannot determine that, as I am not there...as much as any debunker can either, so it is an interesting anomaly for now, and will be until proven wrong.

You would think that they would be charging $10 or more per look see.  Just saying...too many people out there wanting to make a buck.

Do shadows under floating rock look right?

hum the sun seems to be on the back side of  it?. i am doing some research on the history of the natives on wik has a very interesting past as the women seemed to be the most important role and inheriting the land wealth and such even the way they raised there was unique , from times past most hierarchies seem to follow under the male. in wiciapedia ,they seemed to be very excepting tribe at one time, there were books and even movies after them...one book title got my att. the darkness under the water...fiction? dont know yet,but what comes to mind is how everyone on here talks of dark energy.conection?not sure just drew my att,and man that place has tons of granite ,water and lots of history that is a perscription for major activity. I am very interested in what everyone comes up with. i remembered a theory of levitation for building the pyramids... it would be cool if it was realy floating!

sort of a fluctuation in continuity to the eye..paredolia maybe?

also seems to be a linear blur on either side of the gap..vertical as if there might be rods photoshopped out which hold up the top boulder.

still..cant say.

The picture to me doesn't look right something is off about it. It may be a hoax.

Amaterasu

I agree the "floating rock" does not look right.  It looks to be pasted in and maybe some burn tool work to create a "shadow..."

I have doubts about this one.  Disclose the location and let Us all go look and photograph.  THEN I might believe this.
"If the universe is made of mostly Dark Energy...can We use it to run Our cars?"

"If You want peace, take the profit out of war."

You have that wrong...

"If a tree falls in the woods and there are no ears to hear it... would it make a sound?"

The answer is NO it would not :D
