Watch the graphic presentation and note the buildup of protest.  This dovetails with a recent analysis on StratRisks about a worldwide loss of confidence in governments.

We're headed towards something big.

Very Interesting to see  8th man...

No doubt the more recent statistics is down to the Internet !

Otherwise I suspect we would have seen similar figures maybe as far back as the early 1980s...

That's when things seemed to start going bad again after they started making Job lay off's & mass redundancies..at least thats how it was in the UK & Europe at that time...I assume the USA followed similarly..

after what had been a 1950s to 1970s boom after WW2...

No doubt populations do seem to have grown severe now...and maybe some say they can understand globalists / Gov if they are trying to reduce populations.

Its just we do not want to be part of it ....

There are too many things that affect that map, one of the most important being the source, news reports.

Also, the fact that there are more protests is also a result of having more freedom, as I noticed some of those "protests" in Lisbon in the 1980s, something that could not happen before the 1974 revolution, so the fall of the Berlim wall and the end of many dictatorships in those years is an obvious factor in it.

PS: I didn't look at the whole video, as I was more interested in knowing where the data came from. :)

Idle people are more able to form huge protests. Those that have no job are the only ones with time on their hands to protest and are the easiest to be rallied to a cause... many times just out of boredom

We're headed towards something big.

Every great civilization in History fought HARD to build a utopian society, they worked, they built , they created...

As they got closer to that utopia they had more leisure time....

This leisure time soon led to depravities and debauchery...  Look at Rome as a prime example... the people demanded more and more because they had free time on their hands and soon got bored...

in the end EVERY civilization that had reached such a Golden Age was torn apart from within before falling to the 'barbarians' on the outside just waiting for a break

EVERY ONE  even the Myths like Atlantis where corruption lead to the destruction that caused the 'sinking'

So today you are seeing the "Decline and Fall of the American Empire" (and others) while the New World Order is named "CHINA"

I agree zorgon.
How does society repel this future?
Or how does one get ahead of the curve and profit from this future?

Um...  We all can profit - including the starving children who the waiting buzzards would feed off of - but Y'all know the plan, eh?

"If You want peace, take the profit out of war."

I added the StratRisks analysis because I realize that this topic is somewhat subjective.

Nevertheless, I see a danger in ignoring observations simply because they are subjective, as habitual skeptics might do.  A few people did foresee where Hitler or General Motors or Obama were headed, inspite of all contrary propaganda.

I think we need to ponder the notion that a Golden Age would be sort of a curse.  Can we adopt a cultural habit of self discipline and avoid the ' there's nothing to live for except more sex and drugs' idea?

For example, I notice that there are a few comedians who never seem to get tired of what they do - and may have very stable personal lives as well.  For every Pryor or Hedberg, there's also a Leno or Seinfeld.

Does it all have to be pessimistic?  I'm reminded of the Zen Monk who said about the aftereffect of long meditation, "sometimes the world is so beautiful you can hardly stand it".

Indeed....

What happens next; is the Start of the next "Chapter", part of the "Story" (Experience)
Invoking the "Upgrades" of our "Processing System", the Ancients referred to as the Soul !

The title "Soul" was given for our "Processing System" ALL is produced in and Presented !

The word "Soul" has changed through "History", having been bastardised by "religious sects" and Institutions !

Russia built a straw house that fell
America built a wood house that is falling
China built a cement house that is standing in the long run for now.

3 stupid pigs can teach us lessons.

Greed got in the way of Russia and America. It will get in the way for China also and then the entire program will shift west again. We all get a turn.

Buzzards need to eat too :P Stop making babies when you can't feed the ones you already have or yourself...

Your plan would fail for the same reason Rome did, and like Rome you could never get everyone in the world to follow it... so there will always be those barbarians on the outside waiting for sloth and apathy to set in to your free everything robot controlled utopia

Human is as Human does :D
