Supermarket robot checkout. Most grocery stores here in Vegas have implemented automated checkout systems  and thus have cut out useless human tellers that need a paycheck and benefits putting them out of work

Most stores will have a dozen machines and maybe 2 live checkers on hand.

Now the machines have a problem...

They are easy to cheat because NO ONE is monitoring that you ring up every item.  And as was pointed out to me today, you can take premium tomatoes and type in the selection for the cheap ones. NO ONE would know

It is a good thing that MOST people still have the Fear of God in them to keep them inherently 'honest'

Do these machines drop the price of food? No they just increase the profits and save in workmen's comp

Too bad all those out of work checkers can't afford to shop there anymore as they have no job

And none of this is an issue in a society that does not ring up products, but allows them to be obtained for free.

But WHY?  Because the many ALLOW it to happen to themselves.  I have seen it on my personal small scale microcosim with the Medieval Guild

All I need to make people my Vassals is the RIGHT game plan.  In my case I ma a benevolent dictator and because of rule#1 "BUILD IT and they will COME" I can literally create my own Kingdom that people will BLISSFULLY join  and do the dirty work in return for the 'gold'  In this case the 'gold' is being part of something bigger and greater than themselves

At the end of this month I will be going to War! This time not as a King, but a mere Merchant... (I need the Gold to rebuild my own empire )  At this war will be 7-8,000 people that WILLINGLY bow to various Kings and 'sell' themselves into serfdom. These 8K people are part of a worldwide thing that has over 40,000 members in the one organization alone
