China Urges Obama-Dalai Lama Meeting Cancellation

It is interesting how we and other countries continue the political "news dance". Obama has already met with the Dalai Lama twice, and the Dalai Lama has been in exile since 1959. But still China has to say negative things about their having another meeting. If we looked back the the news of the prior meetings, we likely would find China saying much the same things.

China on Friday urged the United States to immediately cancel the planned meeting between President Barack Obama and the Dalai Lama.

"We urge the United States to take China's concerns seriously and not to facilitate or offer occasion for the Dalai Lama to conduct anti-China secessionist moves," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said in a press release.

Her comments came in response to the scheduled informal Obama-Dalai Lama meeting on Friday in the White House Map Room, a historically important room but of less significance than the Oval Office.

"China is greatly concerned about the meeting, and has lodged solemn representations to the US side," Hua said.

Your correct when you name it a 'news dance'.

There's so many 'stand off's' at the moment I'm inclined not to believe them all.

I've been neglecting my studies in in geo-politics... Fell down the 'reality' rabbit hole of all things alternative.

I should get back on track... Nuclear war could be imminent and we wouldn't have the slightest idea, just as was the case in the 80's..

I might be inclined to re-boot the Breaking News and Oil Barons forums.

We are in turbulent times, we should all be keeping an eye on the economy situtaion too. Financial institutions are preparing for collapse, we need to ensure we know what's coming and when it coming..

Remember that we diverted physical intervention in Syria. That's got to have set them back some... Question remains, what's the next trick the Gloabists are going pull?
