been working on making something i call desktop pockets. http://thelivingmoon.com/undomiel/pockets/  amy is as well.  the idea is to put your file folders that are currently on your desktop in the little niches created for folders in the desktop images we are creating.

i thought i'd share a few since some are related to peg subjects

this one is called,

i did one for Flux, called "Tesla Flux".  he said his favorite car was the tesla s.  normally i can't do copyrighted images for customers, but flux is a friend and no money was involved.  just a desktop image of his favorite car, modified to have pockets in the grill, and with his name on it.

now a question.

I dont usually keep "files" on my desktop,
but I do keep shortcut icons there.
Is this pocket to act as a icon holder,
or a file folder, or both?

whatever icons you have on your desktop.  ya know how you find a nice looking desktop image and your desktop icons mess it up?  well POCKETS (copyright trademark mwahaha), are designed to have places that your icons can be placed, so that they actually look like they are part of the image and blend in naturally.  some are better at it, than others.. well, theoretically :D

Ah, I think I see how this works, thank you for that.
What an awesome idea! Kudos too on the copyright too!

So, another question then, could you use actual photos
for this, they probably need to be in a certain format.

Just an idea ....if you were to be able to take acutal photos,
such as nature pics your took yourself and use them,
that would be way cool too. For instance, I have
a desktop theme of Tuscany, I can envision red
geraniums, sunflowers, spruce trees, etc!
Just an idea....where your headed looks promising!
