Just take one of those slow boats to China and see for yourself.

Like, every single computer program you have to pay hundreds for, they get for a buck.

When every single person on a computer has up to date software for pennies and in the states you have to work months for some of them, wonder what happens. they are all working at the best level while I scrounge out on office 2003 package that cost me 200 bucks. The advantage the most simple person has over a well paid US person is overwhelming. The same goes for medicine, food and everything else you need.

We worked out the other day that the minimum wage here is far better for them than the min wage in the states. Neither are high but respectivly speaking here it is at least 20% better. Plus the boss feeds you twice a day and can give you a place to stay for free. So when room and board are included in min wage, they go right past the min wage in the states.

You all need to do a tour. Oh and get used to the RMB showing up in your wallet. The moment they go number 1, the USD will drop off the board. It was 10:1, when it gets to 1:1 they will buy the states with our own money. Wait till all the good food gets shipped abroad because no one in the states can afford it.

Ironically, it might be China who saves the gluttonish and apathetic American populace from the house of cards the last 300 years of insane rule has built, and, it's probably less unsavory than being eaten by attacking aliens, so Im all for it.

Unfortunately, our power elite will not go down without taking a couple hundred million of their own constituents down with them, so a run to the hills as Bruce Dickinson suggests may be a good idea for those who who wish to remian amongst the fire and brimstone of a failed nation.

Wheres an asteroid when we need one?

Speaking as an outsider all this talk I have heard about fema camps and fields full of plastic coffins, and enough of them "close combat style 1 shot - 1 kill" hollow point bullets bought by DHS to give every man woman and child in the USA 4 of them, and the words on the georgia guidestones, and the MRAPs for every police force,  etc, is worrying.

I am afraid that there is something worse coming down the pike for your and your people, than the chinkies becoming a world economic power...

Still we may as well all keep "calm and carry on", because in the words of highschool musical "we are all in this together" even though many of us think we aren't...

Funny, I agree with ArMaP on this. The order came downstairs to row faster, the elite want to ski.

maybe in the same boat, but like the titanic, 3rd class got locked downstairs while the elite rowed off in half empty lifeboats. Guys, these guys are so well of that money no longer matters to them. They play us just for fun. Until the ants reach up and eat the elephant they are just worthless in the big game arena. Don't fool yourself. Amy is right on this one, as long as there is money we are just garbage they need to get out of the way. How many slave do they really need? There is no such thing as equality. Maybe equality within groups but overall it is a joke to think about.

ah Deuem  there never was equality..there is never going to be equality....in terms
of what we have or money amounts
but we all have  equal time to figure out why we ARE here and what the hell to do about it
learn and find joy or bitchin about it and die..?

my sister in law has a saying (shes' lookin at 80 but has said this as long as i have known her)
life is hard  - then you die
and even when she had tons of money she has never been a happy camper

first off never compare yourself with anyone..you will never be win that game
look at wheather you have made progress with your own happiness..
have you grown as a person to like yourself

i don't have  bunches of money  and my future is not guaranteed to be nice
but each day i find sind something to be joyful about
today it is that with all this blasted f*** rain.. i have a roof and am dray and warm
yeah seems small but really really has a way of making life more than bearable

ok.. sorry just realized i had climbed up on that dang soap box yet again.....

sigh

The inequality stems DIRECTLY from the system of accounting for Our meaningful energy expended.  It is designed to enrich the few, the useless eliters, and ensures inequality.

Just sayin.
"If the universe is made of mostly Dark Energy...can We use it to run Our cars?"

"If You want peace, take the profit out of war."

amy   you and i are never going to agree with who is responsible for where we are in life here

you feel you have been a victum and in the position you are in because of the 'system' - the 'elite'  -  the 'money holders'

i know that our choices put us where we are..choices before coming here and thur out the time we are here..each choice takes you to another choice and down the road you go..

i have a wonderous quote from louise hay that says
"we are all victims of victims and when we know better we do better"

you will always be a victum as long as you think you are

enough said...getting to sound way more preachy than i am  ::)

Choices, boundaries, limits.....all in the hands of those who set them.

Sky, you can hop on that soapbox anyday, wise Otter you are!

Conceivably.

Quoteyou feel you have been a victum and in the position you are in because of the 'system' - the 'elite'  -  the 'money holders'

Again, sky, You are as wrong as wrong can be.  I take full responsibility for My present place.  I am no victim.  I DO think that any who are starving on this planet ARE victims of a very bad system, and I aim to usher in a better one.  I have a solution for THEM, and You keep making My work all about ME.  It is not.  By the farthest cry.

Quotei know that our choices put us where we are..choices before coming here and thur out the time we are here..each choice takes you to another choice and down the road you go..

Yup, but You do fail to add in luck.  I am sure that One born where there is no food available, no choices, is unlucky to have been born there.  I hardly think the children starving on this planet made bad choices and that's why They are dying.

Quotei have a wonderous quote from louise hay that says

Moot.  May be something anOther needs, but not Me.  Again, You need to reassess Your view of Me.

And on the wrong track.

Amy and Sky.

There is an easy and decisive way of sorting out your ideological differences.

You just need your bikini's and a large child's paddling pool filled with mud...

I need to go deeper into the statement of yours please;
"The inequality stems DIRECTLY from the system of accounting for Our meaningful energy expended"

This reads to me that if we expend energy we should get something in return yet the elite expend almost none. Some of the hardest working people on the Earth are the poorest. So in this system if you expend a lot, you get nothing yet if you expend nothing, you get a lot? I guess it is the "system of accounting" I have the most problems with. So I think there is a problem in here somewhere. At least for me! :-[
