The United States of Secrets..."The Program"

I was given this link by a friend.  At this link are 2 videos made by the program on PBS (Public Broadcasting system).  FRONTLINE takes us through "The Program" that involves a supercomputing setup that sifts through all communications inside and outside the USA.  It targets everyone who communicates by phone, computer...anything electronic.  Both sides of the story are told here.  The ones that implemented the program and have kept it going, the workers, analysts that bucked the system because they thought it went too far and so on.

These 2 videos held my attention because of the enormity of the situation.  FRONTLINE has put it out there so it could be shared.  I would have not known about it until my friend sent me the link.  This affects everyone both inside and outside the US and also makes you wonder if any other government is doing the same.  MY WORDS ARE IN YELLOW.  The link above will take you to part 1 which is 1 hour and 54 minutes and part 2 will be just below it and is 54 minutes long.  It is well worth the watch even if you have to do it in pieces.

In the war against terrorism, what's the trade-off Americans are confronting between security and privacy?

I have personally watched each of the videos above and find them interesting.  Frontline through PBS allows sharing and also has a facebook page.  I thought these were important because those who run the intelligence establishment and those who are against what they do are given equal time to share their side.
