I would really like to know how many Hamas members have been killed? We hear of fatalities on the Israeli side and the numbers of dead and wounded civilian collateral damage but no mention of any dead Hamas. Where is all this destroyed hardware? Where are all the dead Hamas fighters? Haven't seen 1 video of a clash with Hamas & Israel in any of this. Just many civilians in anguish.

Don't think anyone is sympathizing with Hamas...more with the innocent Palestinian people that can't leave or hide ANYWHERE and will bear the brunt of  the slaughter while each side makes excuses to justify themselves in their murderous rampages.

The key to understanding the confict is understanding each
country's ( sides ) religious beliefs.

To understand Hamas, we need to look no further than
their own declarations.

Quote

The charter of Hamas, the controlling faction in the Gaza Strip, states, "[Peace] initiatives, the so-called peaceful solutions, and the international conferences to resolve the Palestinian problem, are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement. For renouncing any part of Palestine means renouncing part of the religion[.]"

Suddenly, the current conflict between Israel and the Hamas faction in the Gaza Strip comes into striking clarity.  In evaluating the violence currently going on in Gaza, it is informative to understand not only how both sides operate, but how both sides define themselves and their purposes.

Although Hamas rejects the peace process, its charter, written in 1988, proposes an acceptable alternative solution to the conflict: "There is no solution to the Palestinian problem except by Jihad. The initiatives, proposals and International Conferences are but a waste of time, an exercise in futility."
http://www.americanthinker.com/2014/07/what_does_hamas_want.html

http://www.thejerusalemfund.org/www.thejerusalemfund.org/carryover/documents/charter.html?chocaid=397
The Hamas charter states
"Israel, by virtue of its being Jewish and of having a Jewish population, defies Islam and the Muslims."

The charter further states,

"The prophet, prayer and peace be upon him, said: The time will not come until Muslims will fight the Jews (and kill them); until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: O Muslim! there is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him!"

So yes, it is tragic that civilians are killed, yet it would seem that
Hamas considers the loss of life an ordinary course of Jihad.

No she has not.

;)

Finally, someone with a little less tin in their middle eastern diet.  GOLD!
Time is the fire in which we burn.

The Seeker

Wartoad, Pegasus does not promote, condone or sympathise with any of the factions involved.

Face cold hard reality: Hamas is a terrorist organization focused only on the removal of Judi-ism from Palestine and possibly the face of the planet...they don't want peace...they want blood and guts and gore...

Collateral damge does not mean anything to these people; they want it, so they can use it to pump their people up even more...

Actually Pegasus is one of the most tolerant sites of deviant religious thinking, and unacceptable religion based social behaviour on anyone's part.

First some facts....

A rampant insanity has gripped the religidiots of the middle east for millenia, with Islam the latest patient to arrive on the looney bin roll call..and rest assured, no matter what, the future will bring more new religions to kill and maim in the name of god, allah, flying spaghetti monster or what have you..as the region breeds discontentment and intolerance as a rule.

Seeds of hate, breed plants and trees of hate...until someone goes in with a chainsaw, it will perpetuate for another 4 millenia.

Noone other than Hamas sides with Hamas, unless of course they are fools or buffoons themselves. And fools and buffoons dont last long on Pegasus, just ask Spiderman...erm...the person formerly known as Linda Brown.

Perhaps you are exasperated, WarToad, at the whole scenario, thats understandable, but research and due diligence here on PRC takes the place of war mongering and hate for other races and religions.

Always has, always will.

The problem is that there's only one country.

Right, Palestine is not a State, no statehood, no country.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/palestinianauthority/9712572/UN-defies-US-to-recognise-sovereign-state-of-Palestine.html

But, if I had to choose to live in Israel, under their government, or
The Gaza Strip, under Hamas as a women its a no brainer.

Why would I choose to live under the Islamic opression of Hamas,
and subject myself to being a pawn in thier Jihadist mentality?

Just sayin....

But....I digress....

I think the question should be if "you were a Palestinian woman and had to live in Israel, under their government, or the Gaza Strip, under Hamas, what would you choose?" :)

Well, I do see your point to a degree, however a Palestenian women
might be agreed to sacrificing her life in Jihad, if she is a Muslim.

Though, she might change her mind if she had a few years of freedom
in a neigboring country, such as Israel where she could learn what
it is like to be a free woman in her own right, rather than a peice of
property that belongs to a Palestinian man.

The key to understanding the conflict ...is to understand Hegelian Dialect.
Come on guys - are you actually taken in by the distraction of religious grounds? Like the 'Sectarian Wars' currently in the Middle East, glossing over the fact that ISIS is a completely WESTERN construct?

Sorry, but wake the bleep up!

Study the Globalists, know what they think, know how they think.
Look at Nazism and Zionism - two sides of the same coin.

Amy's right, most humans are peaceful and tolerant, the people are being manipulated and down trodden, even with silent weapons.. For the quiet war.
