Pegasus-The Main Reason (for me at least)

I have been hanging around here for several years now and I check in probably 20 times a day just to see what's going on.
I don't post much because most of whats being posted is uninteresting, boring, and unadulterated personal angst.

The MAIN reason I visited and joined the forum was simply, JOHN LEAR. He has fascinated me for a very long time and I was just lucky enough to find 'thelivingmoon' and hence Pegasus Research Consortium.
From that finding I was fortunate to meet Ron Schmidt, i.e. ZORGON The Magnificent!

I have had my ups and downs on the forum, posting my vids and throwing temper tantrums when I got my feelings hurt. But I think I've mellowed out and decicded to take the path of least resistance sort to speak.
The one thing that I noticed, and I could be wrong as I usually am, is that there aint't much reseachering going on here. At least I don't see it. More time is spent on someones 'feelings' of impending world doom and the evil that me do.
And how 'not fair' life is or some unknown realm of the mystic mind melding universe...hell I don't even know anymore what most are talking about here.

Anyway

to the point...

John Lear has become a friend. We actually talk from time to time and I do a few things i.e. video/moon/finding/interesting stuff for him.
But John doesn't visit here, mostly because he's preaching to the crowd so to speak and he's pretty much said a lot.

Ron Schmidt has become a friend and we worked together on the UMLR project with Dr. Resnick.
Ron is a bit incognito at the moment and will return when he's ready.

In other words I don't think you'll be seeing me here much anymore as the three main reasons are gone.

John, Ron, and real research...

I'll be lurking from time to time but........

Peace

We all need a break from time to time.
I agree with your statement whole heartedly.
One thing I've learned, while on pegasus.is research is emotionally taxing.for me I get my hopes so far up and then when I fail,it really hurts.
As cosmos thread currently brings up about fear,we fear to fail.
One of the things I think our members need to remember is even a failure is a success.a painful success.
I see it in pwm also but I have been reluctant to mention it.its psychologically taxing for it goes to our core beliefs that drive us.this can lead to words being said that may be regretted later.
One thing that helps is like I seen from Amy because n the past where she will spend time researching one of our experiments and provide items of interest to our threads.I try to do the same for her.this breads enthusiasm and confidence for the researchers.
This is what I think our non researchers should consider doing to help promote the site.even that one guy a few months back that posted on my thread but was wrong in my opinion.it stimulated my mind and forced me to question my beliefs.so I was greatful for the post even though it cluttered my thread.
If members just take and never give back then they aren't really members.

As far as the moon and such.we have extracted almost every iota of info available.most news nowadays is rehashes of old info.I see it a lot in the ''disclosures'' lately.so now is when the hands on research is most important.where the rubber hits the road.
We could make a moon telescope with three d rather simply if enough members were willing to invest some very small dollars.we could drop the hammer on the moon and rip it apart.but it needs organizing.I may start a thread on it.
If the moon research means that much to you then speak up.don't go.we,I may be able to help you make some earth shatering discoveries.but nothing comes for free.

If enough members got cameras and pointed them at the moon from different locations.we could compile a three d image of the moon.if tied them all in together like they do with those big dishes around the world.if we all went in together on some kinda group buy,we may be able to get the price down low enough.maybe even buy telescopes to mount the cameras to.plus with all being the same ,it would make it easy on the software.I don't know of anybody doing this.
Now I know we are all broke but let's face it.you retiries have some loose pocket change.plus this would bring a lot of Peggy members together.
It would also make a for great publicity and maybe even mention in the msm.plus I suspect it would give hours of enjoyment.we could also rent it out to researchers.maybe charge a membership fee to them.
