Information of this possibility has been coming out over some period of time. So, this today's news piece is maybe not a real surprise to anyone in the real danger zone.  But, it does reinforce what has been a possibility to more of a probability, with this "warning"-type of data, based upon results of a geological study conducted by researchers from the U.S. Geological Survey and San Francisco State University - "faults are PRIMED for an earthquake of 6.8 or more".

The meaning of Heaven has many, many different meanings ...   

The 'translators' were unable to identify WHICH Heaven was being referred to.

Nor did they understand WHICH 'heaven' is Which, in the 'writings'.

Nor do many know or understand WHAT 'The Place of LIFE' IS, even today ....

Yes  seems I have read this report way back in the 70's.  The imminent threat of the big one has been rehashed every year. There was even talk of using atomic bombs to 'nudge' the fault along gently when it got stuck

Fortunately cooler heads prevailed and that never happened, though they did use the idea in a James Bond film 

On the bright side, since California has banned Ferrets, no Ferrets will be harmed when the big one finally hits.




So if its close, perhaps buying some desert land east of the fault line would be a wise investment as it may soon be sea front property

But according to ISIS seems the fault is NOT currently stuck and moving along nicely

Well the rest of the Ring of Fire has seen much larger quakes like Japan Sumatra and Chile  over 8.0. So when one side of a plate moves that much it follows that the other side would soon have similar movement

Err... You meant IRIS map, right? (stifles a laugh)... Freudian slip these days, I know.

I've been watching IRIS along with the USGS and EMSC for at least the last couple years, and generally on a daily basis. I've seen the same thing you have and on some days, its so obvious a thing, it's startling. The Ring of Fire woke up alright, but the U.S. West Coast is the sole exception over that period for activity. It just sits....with occasional rings of low level movement, but even then? Not many of them.

I've worried for awhile that it meant stress was shifting along the fault to the place of least movement and most stress.
