I wish everyone here on Peggy has a swell holiday season, safe travels along with enjoying good times with your family. 

I will be in Taiwan this year for Dec 25 enjoying the consumerism in a whole complete different way.  Oddly My wife's sister is asking how we want to celebrate Xmas...  At this point I feel sorry for my wife as I say "maybe a good run up a mountain as per any day and good quality fruit ",  "What more could anyone want whilst doing human things?"  LOL

Thanks, but it isn't Christmas for nearly a month, yet.  Also, Christmas is actually the main reason why I haven't gone back to my mother's place.  I'm going to enjoy having a scenario where Christmas Day is indistinguishable from any other day of the year.  The commercialistic excess has become more than I want to deal with, these days.

No disgusting, corny movies; no pain where I can't go into a supermarket without hearing carols, as they don't play those here in Nimbin.  It's going to be great.

I would also appreciate it if people can refrain from demonising me for expressing the above opinion, as well.  Christmas to a large extent is not a positive thing, these days.  It's a source of noise, work, and expense; and virtually all of it is both unnecessary and non-consentual.  I also don't need a designated day of the year where I behave like a decent human being, because I'm living in a place where I and other people help each other all the time.
