Now THIS is odd...  in all my years of research... NEVER came across these...  now suddenly they appear all over the world

Now? One video is from 2010, the other videos from 2013, I remember at least one of them.

Although I spent all my life near a river, I know very little about them, but it looks natural that a relatively slow vortex (a real, inverted cone shaped vortex, not a helix  ) would create something like that.

I have NEVER seen these before today... I have NEVER seen anyone post these at ATS or Facebook or here until today

It is easy to look at a date and say  "Oh yeah that was filmed in 2010"

Yeah it was  but I have been on the forums a LONG TIME and NEVER saw one

I didn't say that, that date is the date the video was posted by that user, it may or may not be the date that was filmed.

See? that is my POINT  even you only saw one about a year ago...  yet we are inundated with crop circles etc.  WHY have these only come forward in the last year or 2 (which is NOW )

I didn't say that I saw only one, I said that I saw one of those videos. Also, as that's something in which I'm not interested, I may have seen more and ignored them.

A quick search on ATS showed me several threads about them, most from 2009 or 2013.

WHY have these only come forward in the last year or 2 (which is NOW )

Well, I suppose the question should be "why did you see them now?". What did you do that you did not on the previous winters?
