Roswell and Area 51 Unsolved Mysteries version.

This is the TV Program "Unsolved Mysteries" version of the Roswell story...Its the first part of this video that is upto the 21 minute mark...followed by another short story on Area 51...also it includes a set of other  UFO stories covered in the series.

It seems to be quite a good simplified video on what happened..
Im not sure if includes anything different to most of the other information posted on the story and that may vary from A51 watchers research.

Roswell - Unsolved UFO Mystery

Case File: Roswell UFO Crash
Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Date: July 2, 1947

Description:
Founded in 1891, Roswell is a city in the county seat of Chaves County in the southeast New Mexico, United States. The center for irrigation farming, dairying, ranching, manufacturing, distribution and petroleum production, it is also the home of the New Mexico Military Institute.

The Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge is located a few miles northeast of the city on the Pecos River, and the Bottomless Lakes State Park is located twelve miles east of Roswell on U.S. 380. In recent years, Roswell has become a mecca for UFO enthusiasts.

History:
On the night of July 2, 1947, a violent electric storm sweeped over the plains of Roswell, New Mexico, and rancher Mac Brazel waited out the storm in his house when he heard an explosion.

According to his son, Mac was on the fields later that day when he looked to see where the rain had hit, he found the debris field of an unknown object, and whatever it was, it was broken beyond identification. The debris was 3/4 mile long, and scattered along was pieces of plastic-like metal, about three feet long and as thin as newspaper, and flexible beams.

Later that day, Mac went to his neighbors, the Proctors, and told them about the debris, and Mac brought one of the pieces, and although they tried to do several things to it, but the object was unchanged.

Mac Brazel went to the sheriff the next Monday and he informed the local military base, and that afternoon, Mac led two army intelligence officers to the crash site. One of the officers was Major Jesse Marcel Sr., an experienced combat pilot, whose peacetime job was investigate air accidents.

Despite his experience, Marcel was unable to identify what kind of craft it was. Marcel died in 1982, but before his death, he was interviewed for a UFO documentary. He told that there was just fragments strewn a cross a 3/4 mile long and several hundred yards wide. He tried to burn it, bend it, and even hit it with a sledgehammer, but none of that worked.

Newspaper Article

One thing that he was certain of was that it was not a weather balloon, airplane, or any kind of craft he knew. The night that his father found the debris, Jesse Marcel Jr. saw and handled the debris because they had brought it back to the Marcel home.

He found that on one beam there were strange markings that appeared to be hieroglyphics. Jesse Sr. then brought the debris back to the Roswell base, and some believe that the debris was flown to Dayton, Ohio, the next day, and it apparently stopped in Fort Worth, Texas.

That same morning, Colonel William Blancher, the commanding officer, went public about the story by Mac Brazel and the UFO that he had located. The story was quickly picked up by media across the country.

That same day, an engineer named Barney Barnett made an astonishing discovery while driving near Socorro.

Roswell1 craft
Craft and Bodies seen by Barney Barnett

He found a spaceship that was oval shaped and it had crashed and broken open. There were four beings located on the ground near the craft and their heads looked larger than normal and had strange spacesuits on.

At that same time, a group of archaeology students arrived at the site after seeing it near their dig. The military soon arrived and told Barney and the students to leave the scene and not tell the story to anybody.

Barney eventually told the story to a friend years later, and to this day, none of the archaeology students have ever been found. Although the story was only told second hand by a friend because Barney died in 1969, the evidence found makes many believe that the story is credible.

On July 8, 1947, the story of the discovery of a UFO hit newspaper stands worldwide. That same day, a cargo plane apparently carrying the debris arrived at an airbase in Fort Worth, Texas, and the army soon received information that another crash site and bodies were found.

General Roger Rainey's office issued a new press release claimed that the wreckage was not a UFO, but instead a weather balloon. Meanwhile, some reports said that Mac Brazel was being held at the Roswell base until the new cover story was put out, and by then all traces of the debris had been taken from his ranch to a military air field in Ohio.

Investigators believe that some of the bodies and debris were taken to other places after arriving in Ohio, but that others are still there. However, there was only circumstantial evidence to say that something other than a weather balloon crashed into the field in Roswell until thirty years later.

UFO researchers found a document that proves that the Roswell incident actually happened. In 1984, a top secret document, known as the MJ12 memo, was anonymously sent to a researcher.

The MJ12 was a group of twelve people that was supposedly hired by the government to get rid of the debris and help cover up the incident.

In part it read, "On 07 July, 1947, a secret operation was begun to assure the recovery of the wreckage...Aerial reconnaissance discovered that four small, human like beings had apparently ejected from the craft...About two miles east of the wreckage site. All four were dead...Civilian and military witnesses in the area were debriefed, and news reporters were given the effective cover story that the object had been a misguided weather balloon."

Actual MJ12 Memo

The government continues to deny comment on the MJ12 memo.

If we are to believe the memo and the other sightings, we are to believe the possibility that the government located life from another world, and then covered it up.

Apart from Barney Barnett, only one man claims to have seen the alien bodies, Oliver Henderson. His wife claims that he never told anything that he wasn't supposed to, and he did not tell anything about what he had seen until thirty four years later, in 1981.

Oliver was the pilot who flew the first pieces of wreckage out of Roswell, and he told his wife that despite the military denials, the incident actually happened. He told her that the bodies were smaller than humans, but the heads and eyes were much larger, and the clothing was of strange material that he had never seen before. Its been more than sixty years since the object apparently crashed in Roswell, but to this day, nobody is certain what the object truly was.

Background:
Roswell is a city in New Mexico that had a population of about 14,000 in 1947. The city has become very famous due to the UFO incident. Several local merchants have used the story of the crash to attract Ufologists and science fiction enthusiasts.

Investigations:
None

Extra Notes:
The case was featured as a part of the September 20, 1989 episode, the update aired as a part of the September 18, 1994 episode.

Results:
Unresolved.

Several witnesses have since come forward claiming that what happened at Roswell was true, and one of those people was Glenn Dennis. In 1947, Glenn was 22 and just out of college and working as a mortician's assistant. Two days before the Roswell story became public, Glenn received a strange phone call from the Roswell air base.

A man called asking what sized baby caskets did they have there. Later that day, Glenn had to transport an airman to the air base and was surprised to find that the base's infirmary had several MPs. Glenn looked into an ambulance and he saw strange wreckage that was purplish and bluish and other wreckage.

Glenn claimed that there was a great amount of confusion that day at the base, and that when he asked if they needed any help, a military man ordered him to be escorted back to the mortuary.

Then another man told Glenn to not tell anyone about this or "they'll be picking out your bones from the sand". Then, a bunch of people came out of one room, one of which was a nurse that Glenn knew. She said that he needed to get out of there or else he would get in trouble.

Glenn then talked to the nurse the next day, and she told him she would tell her story as long as he would not reveal her name. She told him that they were doing a partial autopsy on bodies of small beings, that she first thought were children, but she later realized were aliens.

The doctor then used forceps to show the arm of the body, that had four fingers with suction cups. There were no ears, but instead strange cartlidge and other things on the body. In all, the nurse claimed to have seen three bodies in total, and none of them were human.

The next day, Glenn unfolded the newspaper on the desk, and it was the infamous article. Glenn never saw the nurse again, and a few weeks later, he heard that she had died in a plane crash after being transferred out of the country.

To this day, Glenn is convinced that her story is true, even though she was never located.

Many are convinced that the Roswell incident began the UFO cover up conspiracy done by the government.

Six hundred miles west of Roswell, there is a secret military base known as "Area 51". It is not seen on any map, and even though it can be seen from a ridge by the naked eye, the military claims that it does not exist.

It has apparently been there since the 1960s, and it is site where advanced military aircraft have been tested there at night. Bob Lazar claimed that he had worked at a site near Area 51, and that he had worked with UFOs and that the government has them hidden.

Bob claims that in March of 1989, he witnessed the test flight of a UFO by the government. Some believe that Bob is a fraud, while others are certain that he is genuine, and that there are other witnesses who claimed to have seen the UFOs as well.

When Unsolved Mysteries asked the government about Area 51, they denied that the base existed. Bob believes that the secrecy is not just hiding alien spacecraft, but also the aliens. To this day, nobody knows what really happened in Roswell back in 1947, nor if Area 51 or the government may have been involved.

Just watched another Unsolved Mysteries Version on Roswell again that referred to certain witnesses that were suggested to have having seen the crashed beings after the crash.

One being a Mortician Called Glenn Dennis who was asked to supply 2 or 3 small child sized Caskets.

When he attended a hospital where it is suggested at one point that the bodies were being held..He was confronted by some military personnel who he began asking some questions to and observed some staff and a Nurse appearing to be in severe distress..and he was told to keep quite about what he witnessed  and was given threats that he would end up in a casket if he did not.

He later managed to connect with the Nurse who later described what she witnessed and observed.
Where she described the beings in detail.

Soon after this, the Nurse disappeared and later it was found she had died in plane crash.

Roswell Mortician Glenn Dennis' Story,
'Nurse X', and Much Other Testimony about Small,     Non-human Bodies.

I know there has been a lot of threads and posts made on Roswell... and it would take a long to search through them again to check if some of this material has already been posted or not...as well what can we all actually remember.. as its very indepth story / topic with several  differing versions.

Also those who post about this topic no longer seem to do so.

I posting this as I just seem another TV Program on Roswell that I dont I have seen before...that was created last year in 2021. I have only one episode so far.

It is Called " Roswell the Final Verdict"

There are 6 episodes to it.

Crash Landings

On July 2, 1947, a rancher discovered otherworldly debris strewn across the desert near Roswell, New Mexico. When a U.S. Army intelligence officer investigated the evidence, he concluded, "It was not anything from this earth." Sophisticated lie detection software puts his bold claim to the test

Alien Invasion

In July 1947, visitors to the south of Roswell, New Mexico, described stumbling upon a crashed UFO. Some witnesses even claim to have seen the bodies of aliens. Their historic testimony has been dismissed for decades. Now, powerful AI lie detection software puts their extraordinary claims to the test.

Silencing Witnesses

With mounting evidence of a UFO crash, a future four-star general ordered a press release to announce the news to the world. But just as the Roswell incident is grabbing headlines, the story is suppressed. Cutting-edge AI lie detection software probes the truth behind the cover-up.

Discredit and Humiliate

Eyewitnesses claimed to see strange debris and the bodies of aliens in secretive Hangar 84 at Roswell Army Airfield. As activity intensified, the U.S. government revealed its official version of events - a crashed weather balloon. An advanced AI program asks whether any of it can be believed.

Alien Autopsy

Did the U.S. government conduct an alien autopsy at Roswell? It has always been one of the most explosive claims about the Roswell incident. Now for the first time, the world's most sophisticated lie detector probes the evidence to unveil the shocking truth.

Extraterrestrial Truth

Decades after the Roswell incident, the U.S. government fights to suppress public interest in UFO sightings and extraterrestrial contact. Cutting-edge AI compares the government's account of the crash with what it has uncovered. After 70 years, are we getting closer to the truth?

I tried to search for a copy of the episodes but I can only seem to see trailers for it in English versions.BUT I have found a Japanese version  that  at least shows some of the Episode I watched.

I have referred to this before in this thread.. about one Roswell Story that claims that there were   Two crashes in that area around July 1947.and in One.. it claimed quite a few people came across the Crashed Craft from some hikers to other military personel..

I am Not sure if this new program is referring to the known crash or the suggested 2nd crash. The Program shows some ref to what one witness claims to have seen who I think may had been connected to the 2nd crash.and in it , it shows him being interviewed by special technology using special face scans, along with other witnesses to try to tell if they believe he was telling the truth that you can see egs in the video..and some of the names of the people involved are wrote on the screen in English.

One was a witness called Gerald Anderson..(who I believe was a child when he witnessed the 2nd Crash site).and for some reason they thought he was lying.  But Others if I recall I think they seem to think told the truth. Another witness was Barney Barnett who I believe did claim to see the 2nd UFO.

Copy of the Roswell the Final Verdict.

see from the 5 min 27 secs for some of the face scan Interview and footage of the Aliens he claims to have witnessed.

Always an interesting case. :)

Lie detection systems have all a point of failure: they can only detect if the person being analysed knows he/she is lying or not.

If the person thinks what he/she is saying is true, regardless of their being right or wrong, the lie detectors will show it as truth, as it's true for that person.

Also, lie detectors, regards of using AI or any other impressive name they want to add to it, cannot know if the person is a good actor or not. If the person really is a good actor they can act as if they believe what they say is true and no machine will be able to know if they are right or wrong.

PS: not knowing how that supposed AI works, I suppose it uses some kind of machine learning, so its efficiency depends on the data it was given to learn from.

astr0144

In the past, I think a lot of the suggested winesses had been interviewed on Camera...
and I think Stanton Friedman was said to have interviewed many of them.

I another recent post I  made I reffered to some  other new computerised technology that used a form
of wrist band linked to a computer  or wifi to connect to Smart watches, that monitored a persons various functions, such as skin temperature changes, persperation, pulse rate . heart rates or nervious systems etc

BUT I had never seen any of the Suggested Roswell Witnesses tested before with use of lie detectors I do not think.

BUt the one shown in the TV program / video.. seems to also also use a combination of facial recognition and
body language in which I suspect the experts have some good idea as to how they believe that they can read
a persons reactions when being questioned and watches their responses carefully and the Computer program is
used to pick up peoples reactions and they would possibly be maybe usually correct to certain %  in their assumptions based on those experts in the past whose passion or job is to study such things in the Human
being.  (I was not sure where to put commas or full stops in that Paragraph !  :) )

Once again the question is, How accurate can it be ... and as you say... if they believe something.. then even if they are wrong.. then it may give false readings.

BUT out of all those witnesses who they may test.. you think that they could get a much better idea if there is
likely real truth their stories or claims.

It certainly appears to me to be quite another good possiblity if they used such technology that it could strengthen
the witnesses claims IMO... Unless it has just been set by some organisation to continue the story and add some
content to it if they were aware that it had always been a set to fool the public or other nations, so thy could
make sugeestions that they obtained Alien  technology superior to say Russia / China.

I do think also think its very possible that they could have invented such a story and continue to keep adding
new ideas and content to keep people believing in something...as it may now be that UFO Ology is now the new religion.

But for those who think its likely for real... then I think this can add to strengthen ones belief.

Facial recognition and an body language are even less reliable than heart rate and perspiration, as different people may have different ways of reacting to the questions or may even have some physical problem that makes them move in a different way or prevents them from moving in a "normal" way.

QuoteOnce again the question is, How accurate can it be ... and as you say... if they believe something.. then even if they are wrong.. then it may give false readings.
Specially false positives, as lie detectors only detect if the person is nervous or not. A nervous person telling the truth may give a false positive for a lie.

I was able to watch another relatively new series about Roswell;

"Roswell first witness"

Quote1. The Journal Part 1
A mysterious journal belonging to the first official witness to the legendary Roswell crash, Major Jesse Marcel, is handed to former CIA Operative Ben Smith from his grandchildren to decipher.

2. The Journal Part 2
In New Mexico, Ben brings in archaeologists and geophysicists to conduct what may be the most scientifically exhaustive examination of the area where debris was found that's ever been done.

3. The Memo Part 1
Investigator Ben Smith and Jesse Marcel's grandson, Jesse III, visit Jennifer Naso, one of America's top document experts for the results of her handwriting analysis.

4. The Memo Part 2
Smith heads to Arlington, Texas where a 21st century machine magnifies an important photo taken at the Army press conference.

5. The Writer Part 1
Ben Smith travels to Jesse Marcel's hometown on Louisiana's Gulf Coast to speak with his relatives who share new information that add important details to his version of the Roswell crash.

6. The Writer Part 2
Ben Smith travels to Jesse Marcel's hometown on Louisiana's Gulf Coast to speak with his relatives who share new information that add important details to his version of the Roswell crash.

https://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/program/roswell-the-first-witness#:~:text=A%20mysterious%20journal%20belonging%20to%20the%20first%20official,Operative%20Ben%20Smith%20from%20his%20grandchildren%20to%20decipher.

In it there was further reference to the suggestions of more than just  the one or two crashes at Roswell.

Infact it suggested that there could have been FIVE within that 1st week in July 1947.
with another 6th one later in that year giving a total of 6 in 1947.

Then another that occured in 1948...with upto 7 in total, all around, that are between July 1947 to 1948.

It had been suggested that the weather conditions had possibly caused the UFOs to crash.
As there had been severe Thunder and Lightening.

But on the TV Programme, It was suggested that New installed radar systems that were used to detect threats to Los Alamos was what could have caused the UFOs to crash.

QuoteIs it possible that especially powerful, experimental radar beams could have in some way interfered with or "clouded" the navigation and control systems of the ET craft? Could such high-energy transmission and detection systems (which were often placed in a triangulated configuration) have created a malfunction and crash? Was this new modulation unfamiliar to ET – one for which they were unprepared? Did our beaming systems emanate at a frequency or in a path that had adversely penetrated their craft? Or did it somehow displace an energy field that was surrounding the craft? Radar is a pulsed radio signal, a form of electromagnetic radiation. Highly-tuned ET craft may have been sensitive to such radiation.

Little known is that the US Government at that time had maintained an interconnected "beyond the fence" radar network. This secret network had served two purposes. It had helped to protect White Sands Proving Ground, Sandia National Lab and Los Alamos National Lab from aerial intrusion
. It was also used for the "far-field" tracking of missiles launched from White Sands. Errant V-2's as early as May of 1947 had crashed their way to Mexico. There was no way that wayward rocket launches could ever get into the hands of civilians or foreign nationals. And our national laboratories needed to be protected from any possible foreign strikes from the air. This covert "outside the fence" radar program helped to provide maximum coverage as it monitored these vitally important skies.

Some of these radar facilities were mobile, highly experimental and lacked more exact "control" of beam path and range. Some of their designs did not have the quality to "contain the energy" as more permanent installations did. If such radar beams played a role in the crash, the radar operators likely did not know that the radar had helped to bring down the craft. The radar was not meant to be used as a weapon. It was an unwitting and non-offensive event. Otherwise, military would surely have gotten to the craft before civilians Mack Brazel and Dee Proctor did- and they would not have had to have been alerted by Brazel to the crash.

The radar project involved highly-classified radar installations that were located at remote off-sites. Towers and arrays were sometimes even sited on private property. Area ranchers and locals knew of the existence of these radar installations (usually hidden in wooded or hilly areas) but said nothing out of a sense of patriotic duty and perhaps through financial inducements. This is a little discussed piece of post WWII history – even by military historians.

Such radar systems were found in places like tiny El Vado, NM. One was called "The Continental Divide." There was a radar station located just north of US 60 about 45 miles west of Socorro. Another site was a radar tower on the road to the spread of NM rancher Marvin Ake, 10 miles south of State Rd. 60 between Magdelena and Datil. Yet another was near Oscura Park, some miles just outside of White Sands itself.

Given how we know that UFOs are reported to be able to disrupt our cars, TVs and radios through their emanated frequencies and radiations – isn't it possible that the reverse could be true? Could our technology have (in some as yet unknown way) affected their technology? According to a treatise entitled "Electromagnetic Compatibility": "After World War II the military became increasingly concerned with the effects of nuclear electromagnetic pulse (NEMP), lightning strike and even high-powered radar beams on mobile vehicles of all kinds and especially on aircraft electrical systems."

Could a unique and dynamic interplay of lightning, powerful radar beams and the ET craft's own generated energy field have in some way brought it down?
And still other reasons could have come into play, contributing to the crash:

This website Also refers to other possibly theories as to how the UFos may had crashed.

https://www.ufodigest.com/article/how-the-roswell-crash-happened/

Someone  called Chuck Wade whos father owned a Bar in Corona in New Mexico that is about 70 miles from Roswell claimed that Mack Brazel the Rancher who was the first person to find evidence of the main crash that the media had referred to.. had visted the bar and had asked his father to go with him to look at the crash site..
But his father said he was by himself that day and could not close the bar.. but later very much regreted that he did not go with Mack Brazel.

QuoteMac
Brazel found a large amount of debris on the
Foster Ranch, where he was the foreman, Mac
came to Corona and requested my dad to close
the bar and go out to the ranch to help him
determine what caused all that debris. Mac told
Dad that his sheep would not cross the debris to
go to water. Dad declined Mac's request, but Dad
DID suggest that Mac report this event to the
military in Roswell. I have heard my dad say many
times that he wished he had gone with Mac.
Mac then went up to the Corona Drugstore and asked
Geraldine and Archie Perkins to go out to the ranch to
help him. They also declined to go with Mac, but
Geraldine helped Mac make a phone call to Roswell

I found this website in which Chuck Wade has wrote quite a detailed PDF document about it.
which maybe some of the best up dated info that I have been made aware of about the Roswell story,
and if it was to be proved as Truth, IT amazes me if there could have been upto 7 crashes.

That's interesting, it's the first time I read about 7 (or even six) crashes.

I just did a quick search to see if there any other info on PRC about Chuck Wade, and I could not find any.

It does surprise that after that all had been previously wrote on PRC from those members who have researched
into the Roswell story may not have referred to the Chuck Wade story..

I recall A51 Watcher when he did a lot of posts on Area 51 and Roswell in which he seemed research more than
anyone else who I think I was aware of on the Roswell story... He had said there had been many other UFO sitings back in the 1940s..

But I am not sure if he had suggested that other UFOs may had crashed at or around the Roswell area.
I dont think he had made any ref to it.

Looking at the Chuck Wade PDF... I note it was crated back in 2011.  so its not a VERY recent thing that may have only appeared on some recent updated Rowell Documentaries... such as the last two that I have referred to in this thread.. that have been created maybe since 2020.

BUT IF this story is truth, then that certainly is fascinating !

Then one wonders what have they found from the other crashes ?

also how many ETs may had been found or survived ?
