Z, this technology would appear to have simply huge potential, if performance is attained as described. Certainly worldwide and off-world application! And there is no way to predict just how far the beginning of this technology might bring so much other technology beyond prior boundaries of limitation.

Here is another link on the Lockheed website to an Aviation Week article that does go into considerable detail about this fusion technology, and about Lockheed's vision for its use. It too is a worthwhile read.
