Hi all. I want submit to your attention something amazing that I discover some time ago (2009) in the "Fall in Hellas Basin" image in Google Mars.  When I first saw the amazing landscape of that little strip area, of 5 km x 12 km. At the begin I thought to a natural basaltic vertical structures... BUT...
Rotating on South-East the side bar something amazing emerges from the ground. These squared structures are not "vertical" but "horizontal" and all of them are perfectly alligned each other and match perfectly.
More: rotating on SE the image awesome figures appear in the image.
Here some anomalies (yellow added to enhanched). Of course I've no idea of what these  structures are, so the names.

An Egyptian statue?

Terraces (a very little portion)

A like snake figure an altar and a seated figure on the right

Notice the shadow behind the figure

A telescope?

Strange tube on the ground and figure

A craft lie on the ground and a seated figure an the left

The Craft

Continue......

This is my first thread and apologize me in advance for my grammar (English is not my language).

It looks like someone is mining that area, one slab at a time.

They'd probably have to mine ice like that on mars.

Hi exuberant1.
I don't know, but I don't think that this is a simple mine. These structures seems that were build  under an intelligent purpose. seems like a City. A huge terraced city like the south american cities. but the most intriguing and amazing thing is that there are humanoids figures.
Like these:

Humanoid figure

The pray (2 different shots)
Before the down grade

After the down grade

The Temple

Hi Arken,

Indeed a lot of geometry, I like it. It is IMO not necessarily mining going on there, there are also good chances you look at something ancient indeed, the terraces indicate that. Since there is a lot of history "buried" on Mars we can find things like recent mining to old desolate sites.

Do you have the image of the "Egyptian statue" without the outlining color in it? And maybe from some distance?

thanks!

greetings Lunica

JP Skipper did an article on this area recently.

Here it is:

http://www.marsanomalyresearch.com/evidence-reports/2011/207/geometric-evidence.htm

And here is what he posted  - for comparisons sake  - a similiar terrestrial analogue for what we might be seeing on mars:'

*While I'm here I am gonna bitch and say we shouldn't be using google moon/mars for our research.  I don't know how to figure out which images are being used for a given area, and even if I did the google viewer screws up the images.

It blurs them and stretches them and for that alone, people will dismiss your research.  Not just debunkers mind you, but serious researchers will do it too.

I've seen it happen, some guy posts something that looks good on the google viewer and the first thing a debunker will do is blame the anomaly on 'stretching' then you have to deal with them whining like a little girl about it in every third post.

Eventually some serious researcher will stop by and see it and then think 'oh, it's google, nevermind'.

Basically, you guys put out some neat stuff but if you use google to do it then you are selling yourself short.  Debunkers can be so vindictive that even if you post the original lunar orbiter number, they will pretend like you didn't just so they can keep crapping all over your thread.

Saying you found an anomaly is pretty much a heresy to some of these folks, you could probably slap their mother and not get such a dramatic reaction - it is best not to give them more reasons to act like manchildren.

Hi Lunica and thanks for your input.
Here the "Egyptian statue" without added yellow color.

But there is more down there....

Arken

Hi exuberant.
Yes, I know already the recent topic of Joseph (Skipper) on the Hellas Basin. And I gave him other material of that Area.
I speak with him on this huge anomalies some years ago, in 2009, and asked him to dig and analize this Area.
Finally he did it.

Hey, I missed this one on the Skipper site, nice :)

I prefer working with MOC or Hirise images for instance. However I think there are some very interesting spots and places to be found, some people will always dismiss them, and of course we just cant be certain without having visited mars ourself:)
