For me personally, it must be an UFO because I can't identify it.

I'm just curious if you use the acronym as I do. I think of UFO as a literal acronym. It's "unidentified" it's "flying" and it's an "object" in my physical realm.
It's a serious question. Quite often I perceive the ancronym in such a way as another perceives. When that occurs, the UFO is inherently linked to the concept of an "Alien".

I don't know what that is so it's a UFO to me too.

I think this something a lot of people don't understand.  When I say I'm a UFOlogist or UFO enthusiast (I'm not so much recently but have been) people think I'm talking "flying saucers and little grey/green men".

I can say the obvious now.  Very few (if any) UFOs have ever been saucers (apart from hoaxes).  I know nothing apart from stories about aliens from studying UFOs.

I wholly endorse and agree with absolutely everything you said.

A bump to keep this thread afloat...

Yes, it qualifies as a UFO in my book also; do I think it is terrestrial in origin? Probably so...

It would be interesting if Sander or Paulie could work on it a bit...

i have watched this video, and have caught a few more "stills" of it that gives us a little better view of  this thing. It certainly seems to be a UFO, and does have the look of a rounded domed craft. I will post several pics, so that you can see what I am seeing. One of the pics has what might be a reflection, or it might be some sort of white paint color - there was just a brief "glint", and I was finally able to catch it in a pic!

I guess one could call this a "bump" too, but I am surprised that this post hasn't gotten more discussion than it has.  Yes, the initial photos were a bit fuzzy, but the later ones from the video are considerably better.

Yes of course, anything in the sky could be terrestrial, but we don't see much in the skies that look like this "UFO".............. :)

Thanks for the bump rdunk... I missed this one.

It kind reminds me this one in shape, only that this one has what seems to be smoke all around, and in the night footage you can see something that resembles a tripod.

Interesting.

The UFO in the first video could easily be a black polythene bag being blown on the wind.  ;D

Pimander, maybe you didn't notice, but the "stills" in my #5 reply are taken from the OP video. Yes, as seen in the fast movie action of the OP video, the "UFO" is hard to visualize as it is so fuzzy. But, while not perfect, the screenshot stills of my #5 reply do give us a much better look, as we can at least see more of the actual shape of the UFO. :)

Glaucon

It certainly sounds like Arizona, that's for sure.

The stills look a lot like a conning tower taking a peak at the north pole.
