Following yesterday's article dealing with how Obama is positioning to control all food through nationalizing the resource, the trolls have been out in force. And are they ever getting desperate!

The globalist minions, known in part as the Obama administration, do not want the public reading about the NDAA, Executive Order 13603 (EO) and the CIA's funding of ISIS. As Snopes has wrongly stated, "there is nothing to worry about with regard to EO 13603 and it represents nothing new."

Snopes? Really? Why don't the believers of the fiction known as Snopes just cite The Wiggles instead? They would have more credibility when it comes to reporting on the actions and stated intentions of globalists.

Lying In the Bushes
Obama's EO 13603 has been lying dormant for nearly three years.

Some have said that if Obama was going to act on his EO, why would he have not done it by now? The answer is so painfully obvious, Obama did not have the support he needed to act against the very people that he is Constitutionally sworn to protect.

Are we really supposed to believe that Obama would codify, through administrative fiat, on his own volition, the governmental blueprint to seize every asset in the country, including you, if he was not going to use this self-appointed authority at some point in time?

Perhaps he is simply laying the groundwork for the coming dark days of a Hillary Presidency or whomever will be the next globalist minion President.

The fact remains that during the tenure of Obama, the NDAA was passed which can snatch you off of the street with no due process. So, when we consider the context of EO 13603, we should all be nervous.

Obama Is Re-Introducing Slavery to America
According to EO 13603, the President, or the head of any federal agency that he shall designate, can conscript "persons of outstanding experience and ability without compensation," in both "peacetime and times of national emergency."

I can hear the Obama supporters now as they will write to me and say,"Obama would never do that, you are drinking from the Kool-Aid, and just go read Snopes, everything will be OK". 

Well, here it is, you can read it for yourself.

Sec. 502.  Consultants.  The head of each agency otherwise delegated functions under this order is delegated the authority of the President under sections 710(b) and (c) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2160(b), (c), to employ persons of outstanding experience and ability without compensation and to employ experts, consultants, or organizations.  The authority delegated by this section may not be re-delegated.

This means that Obama, and his fellow communists, can seize any resource, property, or person at any time for any reason, including being able to force that person to perform assigned labor without being paid.

There is only ONE word for forced, "uncompensated employment". That would is slavery.

Congratulations President Obama, you have effectively repealed the 13th Amendment to the Constitution.

Section 601 of the act specifies, in part, how far the government can go in terms of making you their slave.

Sec. 601. Secretary of Labor.
(a) The Secretary of Labor, in coordination with the Secretary of Defense and the heads of other agencies, as deemed appropriate by the Secretary of Labor, shall:

(1) collect and maintain data necessary to make a continuing appraisal of the Nation's workforce needs for purposes of national defense;

(2) upon request by the Director of Selective Service, and in coordination with the Secretary of Defense, assist the Director of Selective Service in development of policies regulating the induction and deferment of persons for duty in the armed services;

(3) upon request from the head of an agency with authority under this order, consult with that agency with respect to: (i) the effect of contemplated actions on labor demand and utilization; (ii) the relation of labor demand to materials and facilities requirements; and (iii) such other matters as will assist in making the exercise of priority and allocations functions consistent with effective utilization and distribution of labor;

(4) upon request from the head of an agency with authority under this order: (i) formulate plans, programs, and policies for meeting the labor requirements of actions to be taken for national defense purposes; and (ii) estimate training needs to help address national defense requirements and promote necessary and appropriate training programs

If the above section was merely going to be a military draft, then the Secretary of Labor would not have to be involved. However, as you will note the "Secretary of Labor, in coordination with the Secretary of Defense and heads of other agencies, as deemed appropriate by the Secretary of Labor, shall... assist in the development of policies regulating the induction and deferment of persons for duty in the armed services;... formulate plans, programs, and policies for meeting the labor requirements of actions to be taken for national defense purposes; and (ii) estimate training needs to help address national defense requirements and promote necessary and appropriate training programs...".

Refer back to section 502 of sections 710(b) and (c) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2160(b), ©; these are the people that the Secretary of the Labor will conscript in order "to employ persons of outstanding experience and ability without compensation and to employ experts, consultants, or organizations".

This, my fellow Americans, is a civilian conscription and this is why the Secretary of Labor is in charge instead of the head of the Selective Service! Under these provisions, the government believes that they can send you anywhere, to work on anything of their choosing.


How Will DHS Conduct Mass Roundups of American Citizens?
Thanks to the NDAA and EO 13603, there are now three distinct ways to conduct mass roundups of citizens and place them in detention camps.

Use of the Children As Bait to Lure In the Parents

Here are children being separated from the authority of their parents as well as  the supervision of school officials. FEMA had no right to abduct these children. Again, it is all part of the conditioning process. According to the globalists, your children do not belong to you. Your body does not belong to you. Everything belongs to the state.

Where will they take the children? Will you get them back and when? Or, will they be used as bait?

In September of 2011, DHS and FEMA forcibly removed children from elementary schools, without properly notifying their parents, (i.e. Operation Mountain Guardian) and transported them to an NFL stadium.

In Denver, in a massive 2011 drill, DHS went so far as to hire "mock" parents to beg officials at the stadium to release their children in an effort to desensitize the guards to future parents pleas. It was obvious to most of us that children would be used to pull in their parents to a detention facility.

Aaron Dykes, then reporting for Infowars covered Operation Mountain Guardian in some depth and he even interviewed one of the actresses hired to play a distress parent trying to get their child back from the DHS abduction of Denver children that had taken place that September day in 2011. Once the parents show up to claim their children, they can be easily inventoried to see if they meet the requirements for "people with outstanding abilities"...that will work as consultant (i.e. unpaid slave labor). This same drill was repeated at Giants Stadium in New York shortly following the Denver drill.

Use of the Hessians to Mass Arrest Americans
As I have alluded to before, it is likely that many Americans, in a time of martial law, will be forcibly removed from their homes, or snatched off the street without due process, through the NDAA, which was recently renewed by Congress.

I have painstakingly detailed, with the publication of eyewitness accounts (e.g. Dr. Susan Helman describing her experiences with Russians in Gatlinburg, TN. on my radio show and in print).

I have previously cited bilateral agreements between DHS/FEMA and Russian troops to train for a "disaster" on American soil (i.e. false flag attack and martial law), the participation of Russians and Chinese in Grid EX II and the Russian and Chinese future participation in the highly secure RIMPAC War Games, through emails, videos and pictures the presence of foreign troops from reporters such as Sherrie Wilcox.

I have presented firsthand accounts of ex-CIA agents like the late Bill Pawelec, former NSA operative, Vance Davis and the late NSA agent AC Griffith, related to the same topic, on my radio show and still there are those who will bury their heads in the sand and pretend that none of the evidence exists.

To those people, who still doubt the presence of foreign troops on American soil, I would ask that you read the articles on my website dating back to its inception in September of 2012. One estimate places the number of articles in which I have cited and documented the presence of foreign troops on American soil at 27 times in a period of 24 months. Spend some time utilizing the search engine of The Common Sense Show investigating the veracity of these claims.

I do realize that some people could be carried out of their house by the Russians, Chinese and Canadians soldiers and they and Snopes still would deny their existence. Of course these same people would deny the same happening to Americans of Japanese extraction in 1942 by our own government.

The foreign troops are here and are training, along with a well-armed Jade Helm forces as well. Whether it is Jade Helm 15 or Jade Helm 18, some drill of this type will be used execute the incarceration of American citizens for slave labor purposes.

Jade Helm is about putting the nation under the control of the globalists and the extraction of "resources" as needed.


In these first two scenarios, the "authorities" will likely assess each person's threat, or value, to the state and act accordingly because each and every martial law occupation force will seek to quickly remove any opposition and take over the over the resources (i.e. human capital).

Certainly, one way that the occupation forces will get Americans to come to the camps will be to forcibly take them there.

However, even with the use of Chinese, Russian, Canadian troops, et al., which will be brought in to roundup and subjugate Americans, there will not be enough troops to effectively garrison a country with 300 million handguns. Conventional wisdom states that it takes about one soldier for every 50 citizens to effectively garrison a country.

However, when you mix in 300 million handguns in civilian hands, the number of occupation troops that will be needed will rise exponentially.

Therefore, the occupation troops will need assistance in getting Americans to willingly report to the camps (e.g. sports facilities, schools, large churches and malls). And that assistance will likely come in the form of food and that was reported on in yesterday's article.

Conclusion
If you are not repulsed and greatly angered by EO 13603, then you might have been absent the day that your high school covered the Constitution. To the minions who are forsaking their Constitutional oath to protect and defend America from all enemies both foreign and domestic, you may wish look in a history book and discover the fate of the Brown Shirts which brought Hitler to power.

It is the latter days of summer and there's not much excitement.

However, one day stands out like no other. On that fateful day, you awaken to the news that the nation's banks are "temporarily closed" because some terrorist group launched a cyber attack upon all of the major banks the night before. You instantly recognize the lie for what it is.

You have been preparing for this moment for a long time and you recognize this event for the false flag event that it is. You announce to your family it is time to go. You grab your "bug out bag" and you drive 20 miles in the opposite direction from your intended destination as you enter an underground parking garage.

There you are met by a trusted source. You transfer your bug out bags to their vehicle and leave your vehicle behind. Why did you have to drive to an underground structure? A satellite can be backtracked on your residence. It will detect your vehicle and the number of occupants leaving your garage and you can be followed. Driving in the opposite direction of your intended destination may confuse any search protocol which will be based upon your known associates based on the DHS FAST program which is described below.

Entering an underground structure will make it difficult to track you. The number of vehicles who have entered the structure are numerous and the NSA computers will have trouble matching you to a known associate if you have not had cell phone communication with your intended getaway ally. Your cell phone is now your enemy.

Most of us know about the Stingray program designed to track people as it is now available to local law enforcement. The NSA has much better tracking technology.

The people that you will be staying with, must be "friends of friends" because if you have had communication with these people, the NSA computers will predict who you will hide out with and you will end reliving the modern day nightmare of the Diary of Anne Frank.

Remember, the NSA super-computers match known associates by email, cell phone and landline communications.

If you have ever had a cell phone conversation or your cell phone has come within 10 meters of a person, that has been logged as a known associate.

You have been careful to leave ALL electronic devices behind. Before his death, the late A.C. Griffith, former NSA specialist, appeared on The Common Sense Show several times and discussed much of the tracking technology that was available to the NSA as of five years ago.

As you are driving to your rendezvous point, the radio broadcasters are telling you that all is well and that the banking chaos will be straightened out in a few days. However, you know the truth, the economy has collapsed and it is not coming back. And you also know that in the midst of the ensuing chaos, the Red List extractions which will be conducted by Jade Helm personnel, are imminent. They could take place in a day, a week or, on the outside, a month.

Waiting for you in the underground parking garage is a friend of a friend. You have made arrangements to stay with this friend of a friend because it is not likely that you can be tracked to their home. As your getaway vehicle departs the underground structure, nobody will be the wiser.

Cell Phone Precautions

All parties, connected to your getaway, have agreed to not have in their possession cell phones. Not only can they be tracked, they can be used to listen to your conversations even when the battery has been taken out of the phone.

This backdoor was a NSA mandate dating back to the 1990's, demanded that cell phone manufacturers build in backdoors so that the device could be used to spy upon high value targets. As you are making your get away, it might be best to lie down as you enter the new vehicle. Why? Have you ever seen a photo radar photograph? Your approximate location can be tracked by traffic cameras.

What about disposable cell phones?

If you are in flight to evade capture, any cell phone in your possession is a risk. The NSA has voice print records on all Americans who have ever used an electronic device. The voice print is as unique and as identifiable as a finger print.

If you speak within ear shot of the phone, your voice print can be instantly matched to the super-computers of the NSA and your location can be immediately pinpointed. Therefore, you new host family can never have a cell phone, or a landline phone within ear shot of you. The same is true for a computer as they are routinely listened to even in the off position.

Your electronic devices are the greatest threat to the continued freedom for you and your family. The good news is that you will not have to remain in hiding for very long. Most of my sources believe that "Red Listed" individuals will remain high priority for about 30 days.

Why 30 days?


Phase Two: The Blue List

Under the cover of the chaos of an economic collapse, the middle of the night Red List extractions will take place. During this time cell phone and landline communications will be cut because the powers that be do not want potential resistance leaders to be able to warn each other. However, these extractions will not go unnoticed so Phase One will be immediately followed by Phase Two (Blue List enforcement) which will consist of targeting a second set of potential dissidents of lesser value. These will often include the modern day "Brown Shirts".

It is likely at this point, that some in the military will question their mission and switch sides. Many in the militia movement will realize that the day of confrontations is at hand. Depending on how many soldiers and their units switch sides, we could see a civil war breakout at this point. Regardless of the depth of the conflict, once the shooting has started, most Red and Blue List people will lose their importance to the authorities. In other words, if you guess correctly on the trigger event for the extractions, you may only to have to hide out for a maximum of about 30 days.

Bugging Out to the Country

Bugging out to the country carries more risks than benefits unless you can get out of the country. As a matter of course, I do not recommend leaving the city because there are just too many ways to get caught. It is of paramount importance to realize that there are a plethora of license plate readers in operation. If you do make a run for the border, do not use your own car.

The healthy side of your paranoia is about to emerge as we consider the fact that there is a sponsored DHS program known as FAST, which is a DHS tested program and has been described as a "precrime" program. FAST will gather upon complex statistical algorithms that will compile data from multiple databases and will subsequently "predict" future criminal or terrorist acts.

The FAST system can track 36 million faces in one second.

The "precrime" data will be gathered" through cybersurveillance and stealth data monitoring of ordinary citizens. The FAST program purports to assess whether an individual might pose a "precrime" threat through the capture of a range of data, including biometric data.


In other words, FAST accuses non-convicted individuals as being a security threat risk of becoming future criminals and terrorists through data analysis. No charges, no police interviews, the system is designed to become "judge, jury and executioner".


Under the Future Attribute Screening Technology (FAST), criminal cues are captured through the following types of biometric data including body and eye movements, eye blink rate and pupil variation, body heat changes, and breathing patterns. Various linguistic cues include the analysis of voice pitch changes, alterations in voice rhythm patterns, and changes in intonations of speech.

Documents released by DHS clearly show that individuals could be arrested and face serious consequences based upon statistical algorithms and predictive analytical assessments.

Most importantly, the FAST program has the ability to predict where you would likely run to in times of trying to evade capture. This program is one of the main reasons that the massive spying was undertaken because the program has the unique ability to predict your next move. I am very nervous because this technology is a part of Jade Helm and their "extraction drills".

FirstNet

Unfortunately, the madness does not end with the FAST system. There is a new DHS funded multi-billion dollar spy tool and it is called FirstNet. This is a citizen information gathering device like no other. A company called New World Systems is in charge of implementing this system.

The Radio Access Network (RAN), which is part of this elaborate network, consists of the radio base station infrastructure that connects to user devices including cell towers and mobile hotspots embedded in vehicles which connects to the satellite network or other types of wireless infrastructure.

This is a "search and destroy system" as FirstNet is designed to hunt you down in remote areas. The extraction component of Jade Helm in rural Texas communities, is noteworthy when these two systems are considered with regard to the potential of these two systems to abuse American citizens. Firstnet is going operationally live just prior to the Jade Helm announced kick off of July 15th.

This system is also about the disguised takeover of the Internet and all cell phone communications under the possible false premise of an emergency. Does the recent implementation of Net neutrality by the FCC make a little more sense now? When we go into martial law, communications will be suspended so potential dissidents cannot warn one another and you have just learned how they plan to accomplish this communications blackout.

"In a classic tyranny, the educators are among the first to be exterminated." America will be no different. Educators transmit culture to the young and the globalists are intending on rewriting history. Any non-compliant clergy will be next and for the same reasons.

The rest of the population will be assigned a threat matrix score by the NSA. The Verizon data dump to the feds is just the tip of the iceberg. For example, because of cell phone tracking, if you have ever met with a person of concern (e.g. an alternative media figure), your score goes up because your two cell phones came into close proximity. And the longer you meet with this person, the more points are awarded to your Threat Matrix Score.

Keep in mind the Threat Matrix Score is like golf. The goal is to have a low score, that is if you want to live.

The person's score will also rise if they visit the wrong websites, belong to the Libertarian party, own a gun, vote for third party candidates and are a veteran.

Demographic maps have already been created in which red dots appear on a data screen by address. The red dots represent people who have received a high score and DHS swat teams will sweep pre-designated areas.

The DHS swat teams along with their 2.2 billion rounds of ammunition and 2700 armored personnel carriers will be the vanguard force behind this terrible tyranny..."

Firstnet boasts a map along with the embedded graphics from the FirstNet website. From this, it is easy to conclude that they have developed the technology to track you and find you should you be a fugitive from their own special brand of justice. RAN has the ability to track you anywhere on the planet. Soon, there will be nowhere for people with high threat matrix scores to run and hide without being found by this system. These two technologies are a part of Jade Helm 15 and real time data will be available to Special Operations Forces as they carry out their missions.

Facial Recognition Software

The NGI Interstate Photo System Facial Recognition Pilot (IPSFRP) Project is a collaborative effort between the FBI and pilot agencies to identify user needs and develop a useful investigative tool for the law enforcement community through the recognition of a fugitive through facial recognition.

The Interstate Photo System provides a search of a limited population of criminal/wanted persons mug shots using a submitted probe image. I am told that these systems are now embedded in the traffic cam system in use across the country.

Once a facial recognition has been established a satellite can be used to track the individual's every movement until capture can be accomplished. Hence, keep your head down while traveling in your getaway vehicle.

Conclusion

There are many more programs that can be used to track fugitives than what is listed here. The intention of this article is to get you to think about your own flight to safety should you think the need will someday present itself.

I would also add that when you arrive at your host family's residence, be discreet, don't go outside and let your presence be known. Why? Because in the early days following the extractions, a "See something, Say something programs" will likely emerge. The authorities will likely advertise that a reward payment will be made to people in exchange for useful information related to suspicious activities.

As we move closer to July 15, more operational details will emerge. However, I have seen enough to know that Jade Helm 15 is very draconian and should serve as a threat to every American. Many talk about the fact that Americans have an estimated 300 million privately owned hand guns as the reason why no foreign power, or even our government, can subjugate the people. I am compelled to disagree. If our government ever became abusive enough that the people felt the need to rebel, there is a new generation of super weapons being developed which would doom any rebellion.

LACOSTE the "All seeing eye"

In a nowhere to run and nowhere to hide scenario, DARPA, has developed technology which allows the military to spy on entire cities with its Large Area Coverage Optical Search-while-Track and Engage (LACOSTE). LACOSTE is a program of imaging technology that will allow for "single sensor, day or night, ongoing tactical surveillance of all moving vehicles in an urban area."

LACOSTE will eventually be able to identify individual humans in the same manner with the next generation of facial recognition software. This surveillance system is being integrated into department store video surveillance, the street light turned spy Intellistreets as well as all traffic cameras.

Many gun owners mistakenly believe that they are going to be able to carry out acts of guerrilla warfare and/or terrorism against an illegitimate government as they begin to lock-down the country under a martial law takeover.

Therefore, it is a safe bet that prior to moving globalist controlled forces into an area to conduct a roundup, BOSS and Boomerang will be employed to detect and possible resistance and eliminate the resistance by calling in a drone strike.

L-3 Communications is a military contractor, offering combat-grade solutions to the U.S. Armed Forces in their conflict overseas.  But as the increasingly militarized American police state turns its focus homeward, L-3 is looking to offer up these military grade solutions as tools for policing the homefront.

Among the military grade solutions offered is the Range-R radar system, produced by L-3 subsidiary CyTerra.  The device debuted a little over two years ago, and vaguely resembles a stud finder at first glance.  But according to experts, this is no ordinary tool.

The Range-R is capable of beaming radio waves through most thin brick or concrete walls.

The signals bounce off of solid objects -- including people.  When that object moves, the waves are compressed or expanded -- a phenomena known as the Doppler effect.

By carefully watching the reflections for Doppler shifts, the finely tuned sensor can detect people from up to 50 feet away.

The sensor is so sensitive that it can even detect stationary targets' slightest motions from breathing.

The fact that an electromagnetic pulse is produced by a nuclear explosion has been known since the earliest days of nuclear weapons testing. The magnitude of the EMP and the significance of its effects, however, were not realized for some time.

During the first United States nuclear test on 16 July 1945, electronic equipment was shielded due to Enrico Fermi's expectation of an electromagnetic pulse from the detonation. The official technical information for that first nuclear test states, "All signal lines were completely shielded, in many cases doubly shielded."

In spite of this many records were lost because of spurious pickup at the time of the explosion that paralyzed the recording equipment. During British nuclear testing in 1952--1953 there were instrumentation failures that were attributed to "radioflash", which was then the British term for EMP.

The high-altitude nuclear tests of 1962 increased the awareness of EMP beyond the original small population of nuclear weapons scientists and engineers. The larger scientific community became aware of the significance of the EMP problem after a series of three articles were published about nuclear electromagnetic pulse in 1981 by William J. Broad in the weekly publication "Science".

This may well be the best Faraday cage you can make on the cheap and the best Faraday cage at any price.

I'm not saying that to brag but I really believe in this design. If you are at all concerned about protecting your electronic equipment from either a man made or solar EMP please consider making a Faraday storage cabinet like this.

The cabinet cost me $100, the tape $32 and the aluminum insulation was free. You might be able to make this Faraday cage for less if you stop by construction sites and get left over aluminum insulation and ask for thirteen feet of aluminum duct tape.

With very little attention, the federal government is preparing for the possibility of a man-made electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack or a solar geomagnetic disturbance (GMD) that potentially would create a nationwide blackout for weeks or months.

Recent news reports indicate that at least three federal agencies are making contingency plans for such events.

The EMP Commission to Congress reported that if the power grid was down for a full year, upwards of 90 percent of the population would die, either from starvation, sickness or civil unrest.

The most public action was taken by the Pentagon, which has decided to move its command center for North America into an EMP-proof bunker. In April it was revealed that the headquarters for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the US Northern Command were moving back into an underground facility inside Cheyenne Mountain outside Colorado Springs.

"Because of the very nature of the way that Cheyenne Mountain is built, it's EMP-hardened," NORAD and North Command's top officer, Admiral William Gortney, told the press. "It wasn't really designed to be that way, but the way it was constructed makes it that way."

The Cheyenne Mountain Complex was built in the 1960s to coordinate US and Canadian defenses during the Cold War. The Pentagon will spend $1.5 billion to upgrade the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, which was closed in 2004, Defense One reported. Facilities inside the mountain include sleeping quarters, a water supply and a power station. All US military forces presumably would be directed from the facility in the event of an EMP attack or a solar storm (GMD incident) that took out the power grid.

"These facilities and the entire complex of NORAD and NORTHCOM represent the nerve center of defense for North America," former Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said in a 2013 speech at Cheyenne Mountain.

Electric Grid Commission Concerned?

Meanwhile, in May the agency that oversees America's electrical grid, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission or FERC, created a plan to address solar storms. The five members of FERC voted to approve a standard that would require all electrical transmission systems to have contingency plans for GMDs. A GMD in 1859 known as the Carrington Event destroyed the most advanced technology of the day, the telegraph.

"These events are considered to be 'high impact, low frequency' events, but can have potentially severe, widespread effects on reliable grid operation, including blackouts and damage to critical or vulnerable equipment," a press release from FERC read.

FERC is asking electric companies to "assess the vulnerability of their systems to a 'benchmark GMD event,' which NERC [North American Electric Reliability Corporation] described as a 'one-in-100-year' event. If an entity does not meet certain performance requirements based on the assessments, it must develop a plan to achieve the requirements.

"Given the limited historic geomagnetic data and because scientific understanding of such disturbances is still evolving, the Commission is concerned about how a benchmark GMD event is defined in the standard," the release states.

Homeland Security Develops Space Weather Strategy

The White House is so concerned about GMDs that it is developing a National Space Weather Strategy for such events, an April press release from the Department of Homeland Security states. In November 2014, the White House National Science and Technology Council launched the Space Weather Operations, Research and Mitigation (SWORM) Task Force. SWORM's charter required the development of a National Space Weather Strategy, which will "articulate high-level strategic goals for enhancing national preparedness to space weather events," the press release states.

"Reducing the nation's vulnerability to space weather is a national priority," the press release states. "[Homeland Security's] Strategic National Risk Assessment identifies space weather as a hazard with the potential to pose a significant risk to national security. As a national risk, space weather warrants a coordinated strategy, and the whole community must work together to enhance the resilience of critical infrastructure to the potentially debilitating effects of space weather."

The public is being invited to comment on a draft of the National Space Weather Strategy put together by the SWORM Task Force.

"Space-weather events pose a significant and complex risk to the Nation's infrastructure and have the potential to cause substantial economic and human harm," the draft strategy states.

"The Nation has not experienced the full consequences of an extreme space weather event in modern history," the strategy notes.

The worst power outage we had was when the Eastern Grid failed

Source of that outage was never confirmed 100% (No solar EMP at the time though)

The reason the entire grid failed was because of the way it was connected   and as each relay failed it over loaded the next one that was supposed to reroute the power

Today's grids are better... and not so dependent on each other. Here in vegas in the summer heat and lighting storms transformers pop all the time. Power goes out for a few minutes while it reroutes Sometimes a few hours if it is close.

Once they find the source its only minutes to put in a new transformer

The biggest problem was TOO MUCH POWER and the first switch to break was set TOO LOW for the peak capacity  so the extra power had no where to go and started overloading circuits

So, great for Cheyenne Mountain, and all within!! But exactly how are they going to "direct all U.S. military forces from this facility", if the power grids are down everywhere else, and all other communication devices/wiring, transformers,,,,,,,etc which are not EMP hardened are likewise "caput"??   

I would guess that submarines, which are submerged, would not be severely affected by EMP. if at all. Water seems to not be a good conductor of radio waves. May not take much depth in salt water to totally block?? Under water might aso be a good place for a Cheyenne Mountain type facility - - or Atlantis!!
