In my opinion, almost a century of lies have already been a very long road to walk so far. Not that I, personally need that a particular government  tells me what to think but it would be, at least "fair", with the people of the world if officially this issue could finally find some "light".

If It is really an issue of national security I could not tell for sure, but it's very likely a matter of lies. Lies that most of the world takes as truth.

Former Obama aide and well-known X-Files obsessive John Podesta tweeted this month that his "biggest failure of 2014" was "Once again not securing the #disclosure of the UFO files."

Many assume that Podesta will soon sign up for the still-hypothetical Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, which means that the UFO lobby might just endorse Clinton for a second time if decides to run.

Stephen Bassett, head of the Paradigm Research Group (which runs a blog about presidential UFO news and hosted an off-brand hearing for ex-members of Congress on government transparency in matters extraterrestrial), told the Huffington Post in 2007 that Hillary Clinton "knows this issue is not trivial." Nearly eight years later, Bassett is still trying to access any government documents on UFOs, and still hoping that Clinton will reach out to constituents like him.

Roll Call published a story about Bassett's efforts on Monday morning, which ended with the lobbyist's thoughts on the 2016 election. He doesn't see a path to victory for Hillary Clinton that does not involve discussing the potential of celestial circumnavigation.

"As far as I'm concerned ... Hillary Clinton is not going to become the president of the United States without going through the extraterrestrial issue," Bassett told Roll Call. "Period."

Bassett also suggested that Republican candidates should also support a pro-transparency UFO agenda, before Russian President Vladimir Putin beats them to it. "If Bassett wants to reach out to the GOP, 2016 hopeful and noted Putin hater Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), who heads the Senate Subcommittee on Space, Science, and Competitiveness, might be a good person to start with. "

He had copies of the recorded sessions of the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure delivered to every Capitol Hill office — a bundle containing 10 DVDs, a letter signed by the participating witnesses and a request to meet with Bassett — immediately following the midterm elections.

The NPC event was chaired by a handful of former pols Bassett recruited to the task. "Their presence gave it a great deal of gravitas," he said of snagging ex-Reps. Roscoe G. Bartlett, R-Md.; Lynn Woolsey, D-Calif.; Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick, D-Mich.; Darlene Hooley, D-Ore.; Merrill Cook, R-Utah; and ex-Sen. Mike Gravel, D-Alaska, to review the marathon-length testimony presented by PRG's panel of experts.

Woolsey noted that her fellow panelists, now permanently off the campaign trail, had nothing to lose by participating in the self-funded gathering on extraterrestrials.



"This would be one of the issues that a sitting member would risk losing an election over," she said, hinting that attaching one's name to this effort is to invite attack ads — and possibly the revocation of security clearance.

Kilpatrick appeared genuinely interested in the intellectual exercise.


"I think the Congress has a role to play ... and I think we ought to educate Americans as to what it is and what it might become," she posited on the second day of the conference.

Getting retired legislators to listen was step one.

Bassett's latest lobbying tactic revolves around flooding 180-odd members, including dozens of fax-enabled offices, with meeting requests.

The highest-value targets in this advocacy dragnet are the Republican leaders Bassett believes have jurisdiction over this particular issue: Senate Intelligence Chairman Richard M. Burr; House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes; Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Chairman John Thune; House Science, Space and Technology Chairman Lamar Smith; Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Chairman Ron Johnson; House Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul and House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Jason Chaffetz.

"The goal is to get one of the committees to commit for comprehensive hearings," he said of his endgame. "Not three witnesses, come up [to] the Hill for half a day and give 'em a spiel. I'm talking about 25, 30, 35 witnesses, at least, testifying over a week, two weeks if possible. The reason is we've got those witnesses and the issue is not an issue that you can dispense with something trivial."

None of the committee aides HOH probed about Bassett's info dump responded to inquiries about whether they'd received (much less reviewed) the Citizen Hearing materials.

Per Bassett, the last time Congress delved into extraterrestrial issues was back in 1968 — but he maintains that was just for show.

"The government wanted this wrapped up. They were being driven crazy by the public," Bassett said, noting the Air Force shot down everything lawmakers were presented with a year later in its report.

Well the Military has already closed the books on UFO's and have repeatedly stated that there is NO THREAT to National Security from UFO's  And so far no UFO I know has attacked anyone

All Agencies have release UFO files for years so we now know they DID consider it important

1) They have a deal with an possible aliens and thus KNOW they present no threat

Z. We all know your aversion to Greers, Harameins, Mckinnons, etc. And I agree with you about the "why" we have to be cautious about them. But sometimes I feel you lack in "faith" about how misleading "Da Gubmint" can be. Hate the agents, but not the case itself, or it can taint the most important thing that is the information.

EXCLUSIVE: Barack Obama 'on brink of revealing intelligent aliens visit Earth'
PRESIDENT Barack Obama will reveal to the world intelligent aliens exist and have visited Earth before the end of his final term, according to a US lobbyist.

Steve Bassett, executive director of the Paradigm Research Group, is the only registered "alien disclosure" lobbyist in the United States and has been campaigning for the White House to come clean about what it really knows for the past 20 years.

In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, the 69-year-old set out why he is convinced 2016 will be the year for the world's most historic ever announcement.

There was an air of excitement about Mr Bassett as he arrived at the Daily Express offices in London during a visit to the UK and Europe to gather international support for a 20-year mission.

He was clutching a mock-up Daily Express front page he created with the words "We Are Not Alone" over the face of an alien as the top story.

He said: "This will be a reality this year and across the front pages of newspapers across the world. The most significant news story that has ever been broken."

Mr Bassett is convinced his two decades of work are about to bear fruit.

So why 2016?

A media storm has slowly been brewing on both sides of the Atlantic.

In January, Express.co.uk was among many media outlets that reported on remarks made byHillary Clinton during the election trail, that she wanted to get to the bottom of the UFO mystery once and for all.

The presidential hopeful pledged to send a task force into the mysterious Area 51 military base in Nevada, where UFO conspiracists believe evidence of alien technology is hidden away, should she win office.

Her campaign manager John Podesta also spoke publicly about their bid to release top-secret UFO files.

But, in the background before this Camp Clinton had been making other moves.

Twenty-two months after Bill Clinton left office Mr Podesta called for the release of all UFO files to the public on October 22, 2002 at the National Press Club and did the same there a year later.

In 2010 Mr Podesta restated his desire for disclosure in a foreword to the book UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record by Leslie Kean.

In February 2015 Mr Podesta tweeted: "My biggest failure of 2014: Once again not securing the "disclosure of the UFO files."

On September 29 2015 Mr Podesta tweeted about a reporter's interview with Mrs Clinton, saying: "Ask her about aliens next time! #thetruthisoutthere."

And in March Express.co.uk exclusively revealed the Clintons' involvement with influential tycoon Laurance Rockefeller's "Rockefeller Initiative" in the 1990s, to try to get the truth out and why the couple had never spoken about it since.

Mr Bassett believes Mrs Clinton and Mr Podesta know or strongly suspect aliens are real, and her campaigning on the subject is to make sure she is seen to be at the heart of it when the disclosure comes.

But he is not convinced she will be the president to make the announcement or even make it into office.

The so-called disclosure movement are convinced that world leaders agreed a "truth embargo" on preventing the truth of alien visitations coming out after a legendary "flying saucer crash" in the New Mexico desert decades ago.

Roswell has been at the heart of the UFO myth since July 1947 when the military sensationally announced it had found the remains of a crashed flying saucer near Roswell, New Mexico.

Next day, it retracted this, saying it was a damaged weather balloon.

Witnesses later came forward to say there had been alien bodies within the "crashed craft", which along with wreckage were taken to Area 51.

Clinton campaign head says he filed FOIA request for UFO documents

Hillary Clinton has often been depicted as an enemy of government transparency in the long-running controversy over her use of a private email server during her tenure as Secretary of State. It took several lawsuits under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), a law that gives the public access to government documents and data, to pry her emails loose from the State Department.

But during a talk today at Code Con, Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta said he helped the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee use the very same law to request transparency on an issue she's interested in — UFOs. Podesta claimed that he helped Clinton file a FOIA request for documents related to a possible UFO incident.

Clinton and Podesta have been vocal about their interest in extraterrestrial life. During a March appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Clinton said she would fight for the release of government documents related to UFOs if elected president. Podesta, who was formerly President Bill Clinton's chief of staff, has also championed government transparency about UFOs.

Podesta didn't offer many details on the incident that led to their FOIA request, saying simply that it involved a crash of what he described as a possible UFO or Soviet device.

"I worked with her and filed an FOIA case on it," Podesta said, adding, "The files had disappeared but it was clear there'd been some investigation by the Air Force."

The frustration of seeking documents under FOIA only to be rejected is probably a familiar one for the journalists who worked to make Clinton's emails public, and Podesta acknowledged that Clinton's use of a private email server had damaged her as a presidential candidate. "I think it's definitely hurt her," he said.

"The decision at the outset to use a private email system was, in retrospect, the wrong one. She did it out of convenience but it's been anything but," Podesta continued. However, he said the contents of Clinton's emails spoke to her capability as a candidate.

"What you see is someone working hard, doing the job that the President entrusted to her," Podesta said.

Podesta also discussed Clinton's California campaign and her relationship with Silicon Valley. He said that support for Clinton is building in the tech industry and suggested that the campaign would soon release a list of her Silicon Valley supporters. "We'll probably roll out a group of technology leaders who support her before the election and I think that will be an impressive list," Podesta said.

I believe you are collectively looking in the wrong direction for Disclosure. 

First, I think all this "Draco/Greys/Nordics stuff is flawed. The evidence favors ET unity and acting as one authority. Otherwise, we would have chaotic disclosure and interference with human technical evolution that would be obvious ("Disclosure be happenin' today, bitches  Want some free energy?").

If we accept some general testimony about ET's in relation to humans - concern about nuclear weapons, pollution, reverence for life and rejection of our warlike attitudes (Solar Warden?), then another scenario arises :the emergence of Eurasia and neutralization of the United States prior to Disclosure.

Disclosure now would be a disaster because US NeoCons would exploit the revelation into the Greatest False Flag of All Time - we could spend centuries - literally - in cosmic isolation simply because a few truly evil people wanted to extend US hegemony a few more years by rallying the world to face an "Alien Invasion".

Empirically, I think Vladimir Putin is the key here. It is not that he is 'nice' or 'kind' - it is that he has a vision of Eurasia "from Lisbon to Vladivlastok" - an alliance that can overcome the US Empire, leaving Russia as the "man in the middle".

Politically, US credibility is melting away like butter in the sun - Hillary, Trump, Banksters, Monsanto, the NSA, the mess in Libya, Syria, Iraq..... need I go on?  These events may set the stage for Disclosure - but watching the country of my birth fall apart to get there will not be fun.
