Interesting stuff to say the least.  The deal that Bigelow made with NASA where he bought their patents and started to make space habitats will be a game changer. 

Bigelow Aerospace has a youtube channel and they have a video that describes how these space habitats will function.

Interesting Pim. By whom for what purpose?

From my viewpoint, the whole thing ran off the tracks cause his wife started having an affair with her flight instructor.

That is what caused them to stop calling him to work, which led to his frustration.

Otherwise he would have carried on full time.

Actually I think they hired him against their better judgement (because he had been introduced to John Lear by Gene) but went ahead and did so because of the 'recommendation' by Teller. It's a pretty safe bet that what Teller says goes. Bob even admitted that he circumvented channels by having a private chat with him before Teller's scheduled lecture. Said he sold himself right then and there, and was confident afterward he had done a good job.

Interesting Pim. By whom for what purpose?

I'm not entirely sure but can speculate.

I pretty much agree with George Knapp that they knew Bob could be discredited if required.  If his association with John Lear was known then that was a good way to get whatever information they wanted out there via John and some clever button pushing.

To further speculate, if Bob was misled about certain things then he could have been unwittingly used to disseminate misinformation.  So Bob can tell the truth but some of the information may be deliberately wrong, such as parts of bob's briefing that just happened to confirm some of the "Lear Hypothesis".

ETA:  If I'm right, then that neither confirms or refutes the Lear hypothesis but surely you must see how remarkable it is that a person who was briefed that exact information happened to have been recently introduced to John Lear.
