Ghostery

While this "extension" software has been mentioned here in the past, I was not aware of this capability until yesterday. I did check it out, and it does do pretty much what it says, relative to the various sites who are watching for our internet activity. Most of the advertising that I was getting is now being blocked as well. Ghostery does show a list of the "trackers" blocked at each website that I go to! One is able to choose the areas for individual desired blocking. Thus far, i like it pretty well.

Most of you probably already have this, or another type of blocker, but, assuming that some here might not know about it, I decided to post the information about Ghostery, for anyone else who might be interested in this capability. Yes, it is free, and it does work with most browsers - I have Safari. Oh yes, when installed, at least for Safari, it is found in the "Extensions" file location, which is in "Preferences".

You're funny, you can use all the extensions you want but if you are using either chrome/internet or safari it won't matter.
Firefox is pretty clean when it comes to snooping.

I use chrome, its fast. I even have my fair share of addons but I know they don't mean shit when i'm using chrome lol.

But yes Ghostery is a real eye opener, especially when you go to a mainstream news website, then one can connect the dots pardon my pun.
