"DO as I SAY not as I DO" - Hipocracy at it's best

This "man" is for sure in"dire need" of our prayers! It will be interesting to see what part the Pope "plays" in the affairs of these end-times. Will he become a martyred Christian, or will he be a leader of a "world religion", and a supporter of the anti-Christ?? ???

Relative to the "guns" thought of this pic - Wouldn't it be interesting to know just how many anti-gun proponents actually own guns, and how many have gotten concealed carry licenses in their states??!!! :))

well I can't tell you how many liars there are but here's some info on guns....but just remember these are the honest owners....is that an oxymoron..?  ? lol

There are a lot of gun owners in America – and those gun owners own a lot of guns!

Bill Chandler June 19, 2015 at 9:06am

In the United States of America, the 2nd amendment grants us the "inherent and inalienable right to keep and bear arms for our self-defense, from both criminals and tyrants."

No other nation in the world comes even close to the estimated 300 million firearms owed by civilians in the U.S.

While gun ownership figures vary and are typically underreported, you can see the entire state-by-state gun ownership estimate chart right here, and see which foreign nation most closely matches your own state on firearms ownership. This makes it clear why any aggressor would hesitate at our border. They know that in the U.S. there is:

"a rifle behind every blade of grass and poking out of every single door and window."

Movato Real Estate compiled some interesting data that compared gun ownership in the 50 states with gun ownership in other countries as outlined below:

We started with a research group in Switzerland called Small Arms Survey and its report "Small Arms Survey 2007: Guns and the City." Among other things, it estimated gun-ownership numbers for 178 countries, including the United States (which it estimates has about 270 million guns).

"We then took the estimate of 88.8 guns per 100 people for the U.S.—which, seven years later, is likely higher—and used it to calculate each state's estimated gun ownership, based on state populations from the U.S. Census Bureau's 2010 survey. (Of course, gun-ownership density varies throughout the country, but this number gave us a easy way to come up with comparable figures for all 50 states, since actual state-to-state numbers were not available.)

"Once we had the list of state numbers, we compared each one to Small Arms Survey's list of countries and respective gun-ownership estimates, logging the nearest match."

The study revealed that:

•California's total of 33.08 million guns is closest to China's 40 million
•Texas' total of 22.33 million guns is closest to Germany's 25 million
•New York's total of 17.2 million guns is closest to Pakistan's 18 million

WarToad

I have 2 shotguns(hunting), 2 rifles(hunting), and one handgun(sport shooting).  Among my family and friends I'm considered a gaddam pacifist.   ;)  Which I pretty much am.  As my Dad said "It's a tool like any other tool.   You want to eat duck, you need that shotgun, not a hammer."
Time is the fire in which we burn.

Interesting comparison to the other countries  :D

I wonder what the stats are for Switzerland where its a LAW that every citizen MUST own a gun

Times are a changing too...

INDIANA passed a law allowing citizens to shoot a Cop if he invades your home illegally.  Makes the cops nervous but so far no one has taken advantage of that law... maybe those cops are thinking twice about kicking down your door for no reason :D

NEVADA still allows machine guns and the Casinos let me wear my swords even though they have a sign on the door (no guns please)  :D We even took bow and arrows into Excalibur

BBC SAYS:  Handgun crime 'up' despite ban

Handguns were banned following the Dunblane massacre

QuoteA new study suggests the use of handguns in crime rose by 40% in the two years after the weapons were banned.
The research, commissioned by the Countryside Alliance's Campaign for Shooting, has concluded that existing laws are targeting legitimate users of firearms rather than criminals.

The ban on ownership of handguns was introduced in 1997 as a result of the Dunblane massacre, when Thomas Hamilton opened fire at a primary school leaving 16 children and their teacher dead.

BESIDES SWISS GUARD, NEW FORCE NOW PROTECTS POPE

After that scare, Vatican officials reviewed the system for protecting the Pope. In 1975, Pope Paul set up a Central Vigilance Office and decreed that the Swiss Guard should remain the sole uniformed armed force in the Vatican City. Tasks Taken Over

The new Vigilance Office took over many of the security tasks previously handled by the Pontifical Gendarmerie, a papal police force consisting of men in blue uniforms and others in plain clothes. Two other armed corps in the Vatican, the Pontifical Noble Guard and the Palatine Guard, both in 19th-century uniforms, had been abolished soon after the end of World War II.

The 200 members of the Vigilance Office are primarily responsible for the personal safety of the Pope whenever he appears in public. They also police the 108-acre papal state and maintain order at religious rites in St. Peter's Basilica.

Many members of the force are former Pontifical Gendarmes. Others come from the Italian carabinieri, a paramilitary police force, or have been hired from other security organizations. They undergo regular training at Italian police installations.

Members of the force escort the Pope whenever he leaves the Vatican, whether for one of his customary pastoral Sunday visits to some parish on Rome's outskirts or for one of his journeys by air to other continents. Vatican officials have always declined to say whether the Pope's bodyguards are armed. Swiss Guards Police Polace

Today, the hundred or so members of the Swiss Guard spend most of their time bedecked in Renaissance garb, twirling their halberds in ceremonies or manning checkpoints around the Vatican. When the Guards are actually protecting the pope, they wear plain clothes and carry distinctly modern weapons.

But those on the photo look older than 30 and it looks like there's a woman, so those cannot be Swiss Guards. :)

Either way, I was more looking for an opportunity to write "hypocrisy" than anything else.  :P

There is so much Hypocrisy, the dirt going on in the vatican bank was known for years. The vatican buys space observatories and properties of every kind and tells others to feed people and not buy unneeded goods etc. :o
