are you playing devils advocate

Maybe :P

Quoteor
do you really think there is only one wrist band like that in the world ?

Well what are the odds that a girl that LOOKS the same will be wearing the same wristband? :P

Would be nice to have facial recognition software :P but that nose is hard to ignore :D

That is actually unusually stupid... :P
Not as stupid as using a wrist band as a way of identifying people.  ::)

QuoteIn this case it may be the bottom photo is reversed so the wrist band is actually on the same wrist...  now ask me why I think that :P
Why do you think that?

QuoteAlso the NOSE is a very distinguishing feature...  for "normally astute viewers" for example
Sure it is, but an "astute viewer" would have noticed that the bottom image is distorted, so it's not even a good comparison.

QuoteHow is that even remotely the same thing?
It's not, it's just to show that I can also say irrelevant things.  :P

QuoteThe utilization of moulaged Role Players significantly enhances the exercise training experience by more realistically simulating the conditions and challenges associated with disaster events.

IIF Data Solutions provides Role Player Support Services to Federal, State and Local authorities in support of their domestic exercise programs. Our management team has extensive experience working domestic exercises and has a proven track record of providing the absolute best Role Player Support Services available.

Our program management team works in concert with the exercise planners to develop and integrate Role Player participation. The overarching objective is to provide the exercise response community with Role Players who exhibit realistic, scenario relevant injuries and casualty symptoms that can be readily identified, evaluated and processed for treatment. To accomplish this, IIF Data recruits, hires, trains, moulages and manages Role Players who display the physical and emotional trauma associated with their simulated injuries.

I disagree, those very things are unique to individuals. Mannerisms along with facial expressions and the way people express grief or surprise are all very unique and identifiable.
The way people react is a way of identifying people, if we see them react, in a photo we see only a short time "slice" of that reaction, and one thing we use a lot to help identify each other is the way we move our head and our arms, for example, something that is not visible on a photo.

Also, when laughing or crying we are sending a "message" to people around, so, like all other natural "messages" (like the raising of the upper lip to show the teeth) it makes the intentions clearer but reduces the specific look of the person.

There are live video of most of these people.

When a person is showing emotion or any other facial expression (real or acting) it is always particular to that person.

I am not seeing them, I can only speak of what I see. :)

We can keep on this for the rest of our lives...

Yes, it's particular to that person, but crying (the examples in this thread) reduces the visibility of the details that make it particular to that person.

There was a TED talk about psychopaths and how to identify them I found interesting. It pointed how they will suddenly shift facial expressions inappropriately - giving away their inner lack of whatever sensitive emotion they are trying to portray. The talk showed video of a mom who killed her kids as a demonstration of this.

I then considered videos of various Sandy Hook people and how bizarre their behavior seemed to be. Intuitive I know, but this sort of faculty is used to judge crossing the street or choosing a career or a marriage mate, etc. You can't escape it.

Each and everyone of these happenings have connections to the others, for instance Santa barbara shooter Elliot Rodger's father was a producer on the movie The Hunger Games, the writer of hunger Games Suzanne Marie Collins (born August 10, 1962) is an American television writer and novelist
Collins resides in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, within Newtown, Connecticut

There were look alikes in this case also.

If you dig there are always movie producers production co owners or some Tv and movie connections in each case.
