     Hmm.. Where is that photo from, I mean where did you get it? Something doesnt seem right or somthings off.. I dodnt have the tools to check the photo closer, but I like that we can see the stars from the moon

I'm kind of curious about the voids in the starfield around Earth and to the left of Earth.

Well the 'voids' are interstellar space.  When we look into space we see the Milkeyway galaxy as we look towards the center. Since we are a true RIM WORLD we see our galaxy as a band of stars... but there are few stars (or other galaxies ) that we can see with the naked eye outside the cluasters

Then there are also dark gas clouds that block the light. This is a good image looking towards the center 9and in the direction of the Sagitarius Galaxy remnant that was our home galaxy)



If we were to go outside the galaxy it would look like this roughly (a similar galaxy to ours)



All those other 'stars' outside that galaxy are not stars but actually other galaxies.  While that image looks pretty, i doubt our eyes would see those unaided (except maybe the brightest ones) so to our vision it would look pretty black in space

Unfortunately for NASA, somebody "accidentally" sent evidence Aldrin and Armstrong were making fake distance shots of Earth when they were supposed to be at the Moon!
