That second photo has a spider like creature digging holes or did rover do that. :)

No, interesting as in "interesting rock".  ;D

Really, it reminds me of a type of erosion that makes the rocks look like they melted, too bad I don't remember its name at the moment.

looks like it has a 'handle' on it, sorta like a beat up boom box that someone would carry to a construction site.

yeah, OK, it's probably a rock.........but a very strange rock
