Can this One Video  Change The World?  or is it too late !

It certainly makes a lot of valid points.. IMO

but I suspect only a few could benefit..

The very strong and Intelligent or those fortunate enough to be guided by the right people.

The World now just seems under far too much control and there is just too much to fear..too many laws in place and our real Freedom either taken or acting like a cage around us by our own failings or weaknesses.. I wonder if much of this may be truth..

like the lab rats or animals who may believe where the ceiling of a tank or cage maybe ..when there may later become  an opening...but its become so conditioned it does not attempt to break free anymore after the set period that it had previously attempted when it was previously sealed.

sometimes it opens again....but they no longer believe its possible to break out.

But do we need to change or are we maybe contented overall...

or how much better could things really become ?

Too many assumptions in the first minute, I don't think it's worth my time.

And no, that video cannot change the world.

I agree with the little guy above me wearing the glasses.

Greetings ArMaP:

Again, you make a snap judgement and pontificate and build a strawman argument on a complete lack of understanding the point at hand.

If you did not look at the complete video, you have no base to form an intelligent opinion about "that video cannot change the world."

Your disdain for videos perhaps limits your perception of the world many of us perceive differently from your unique perspective.

Or is it your automatic response to anything to do with Anonymous?

Just trying to get a handle on your baseless answer, friend.

Thank you.

Hi Norval!
I've been AWOL also, putting together another magazine.

Nice to see you.

So you believe ArMaP is prescient? A visionary? Clairvoyant?

How else could One make such a statement with absolutely no firsthand information?

Just here to learn.

Respect,
thor

I found it to be an inspiring message but yet with no direction. They have identified a lot of the most underlying problems but rather vague in their message other than we have the power to change it. They have identified that we are prisoners. How many inmates have successfully turned prison into utopia? We are against all odds and distracted to the point of stupidity. Nothing short of a genetic revolution will save us or a massive die off of the ruling classes. IMO while the message may not change the world it IS a worthwhile watch.

I find that when you bring people closer together, a fight breaks out. Not all the lovely videos and pretty pictures will change that. The more I've found out about other people, the more I tend to be solitary. People are animals, with a few exceptions. And nothing will change that.

And yes I did watch the whole video.

And that's my opinion...

I have a base, even if not as good as if I had watched the whole video.

No, if that was the case I wouldn't even had hit the "play" button.

I didn't even knew that the video had anything to do with Anonymous.

QuoteJust trying to get a handle on your baseless answer, friend.
The fact that you do not understand the base for my answer doesn't mean it's baseless. :)

This is why I don't think the video can change the world:
1 - it starts by saying the viewer is "seating alone before the screen", but it uses that fact to deliver its message. To me, that's a hypocritical assumption, just because it helps their point of view;
2 - then it speaks of some people's lives as if everybody has the same life, which is not true;
3 - days were never timeless, that's a lie, used to shift the viewer's perception to what they want;
4 - then it says that the elements we need to survive are owned by corporations, which is another lie. Food, water and land are not owned by corporations, even if most of what people from the more industrial countries gets comes from corporations;

I only saw up to this part, so my previous opinion was based on that.

This video looks more like an advertisement made by a corporation to try to convince people to stop buying things from rival corporations and buy only their things. Videos like this do not change the world.

Videos made for people in the US are not likely to convince people that live in other countries, in which the situation is not the same. If you want a video that may help change the world (no video can really change the world, only we can), find (or make) a video that shows that people are all the same, regardless of race, religion, country of birth, whatever, and that when we work together we can do great things, but when we start looking for enemies we will find them, regardless of they being really enemies or just in our imaginations.

PS: yesterday was the 42th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, that changed Portugal. It was a revolution in which only 4 people died, killed by the bullets of the political police, surrounded by the people, because it was a revolution in which the people joined the military forces that were revolting, because they saw in them their sons, brothers, husbands, etc., and understood that they were all one people fighting for a better living and to stop the war.
End of yearly rant. ;D

If you are talking to me (I don't even understand that), let me tell you I don't understand a thing of what you're saying, so I don't know what to answer.

Your 'base' does not give you the right to criticize something you no nothing about. Your statement here exemplifies that.

QuoteThis video looks more like an advertisement made by a corporation to try to convince people to stop buying things from rival corporations and buy only their things. Videos like this do not change the world.

QuoteI didn't even knew that the video had anything to do with Anonymous.

That is exactly what the problem is. You don't perceive the world the way other people do.

You click on a link http://www.anonews.co/the-one-video-that-can-change-the-world/ which takes you here and you don't see ANONYMOUS?  :P

QuoteThe fact that you do not understand the base for my answer doesn't mean it's baseless. :)

It's not a question of 'understanding your base...' if you did not see the video, you have no right, nor 'base' to comment on it. Period.

Quote4 - then it says that the elements we need to survive are owned by corporations, which is another lie. Food, water and land are not owned by corporations, even if most of what people from the more industrial countries gets comes from corporations;

The sad part of this is that you actually believe that tripe.

QuoteThis video looks more like an advertisement made by a corporation to try to convince people to stop buying things from rival corporations and buy only their things.

Wrong again. Perception obviously depends on the point of view of the perceiver.

"Exposing the truth about our world. My name is Spencer Cathcart and this is a video I wrote & created."

Hardly a corporation.

QuoteVideos like this do not change the world.

How would you ever know, as you did not watch it?

Thank you for your time and consideration.
